Yup. And....even if our government is not choosing to be responsible, our citizenry could make better choices. Like, if the parks aren’t staffed but are still technically open....how about not going. You know it’s going to be chaos, don’t contribute to it or revel in it.
This is a reminder to those out there who believe that government employees don’t do anything.

As someone who absolutely adores and routinely donates to our national parks, this is sickening.
If there are not sufficient resources to keep the parks staffed, they need to close until such time as staff levels can be returned to normal (and ideally, government pissing contests wouldn’t ever get in the way of public…
