As an Ohio resident, who has voted for Brown, I have to say - no. Just don’t bother. He’s a pretty bland, left-leaning, old white guy. His most important quality is that he isn't a Republican, and that's not much of an endorsement.

It’s Mitch McConnell shutting down the government. Trump can huff and puff all he wants. Congress can pass a budget, let him veto it, and then override his veto.

How about we let AOC finish a term in the House, or even just through a month, before we crown her the savior of mankind? I’m glad she was elected, I like that she’s stirring things up (even if I don’t agree with all her politics), and I'm glad someone who wasn't groomed for office is there. But she's also not even 30…

If the argument for Wall! is to prevent deaths, are there programs with a higher benefit for the same cost? Drug rehab? Health care access? Addressing obesity? Drug research? Give away the flu vaccine? Gun control? Defensive driving training?

It makes me nauseous to see people like Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz, and Mark Meadows act like they’re the “original tea party”. The original movement was more libertarian, and wanted some fiscal responsibility in Washington. Now, it's the alt-right whackos who try to get their way, but no actual policy.
