If he wants to nominate Marcia Fudge, then do so. He’s clearly afraid of being labelled misogynistic for not supporting Pelosi, but don’t make it a point that there’s “other competent females”. Just say you think Fudge is more qualifed and should be considered.

Politicians. See the same with public utilities like water. The politicians don't want to raise rates, because they want re-elected. Slowly, the maintenance and small repairs have to get put off due to funding issues. Eventually, it becomes a big problem, and they have no funds to deal with it. 

Isn't it Senator Rand Paul? Ron was his dad. For what it's worth, Ron appears to have voted against Trump as many times as Rand in the last two years.

That Trump has endorsed Pelosi, makes me think she shouldn't pursue it. He's not doing to be nice. Personally, I think he sees her as an easy target for the right to go after.
