The American version lacks any of the charm of the original. The jokes and interactions all come off as flat, like a bunch of execs said “do that” without understanding what the appeal of “that” is.  Paul is very clearly just going through the motions to collect a paycheck on his way to the tanning booth.

Any fixes to Anthem are at least another year or more out. Skeleton crew is on this game with the next Dragon Age being worked on. Anthem was, at best, a game that launched two years too soon. I’m not sure it’s worth it to try the uphill battle to salvage.

Some mint chocolate chip slander on a Monday is not a great sign for the week to come.  And my number two, cookie dough, didn’t even make the list :(

A Mississippi state employee getting into an embezzlement scheme with the son of a Mid-South wrestling legend sounds more like the premise of a quirky comedy, not something that actually happens in real life

Everything you’re rallying against is, and I cannot stress this enough, exactly what the entire purpose of the movie is.

It is my dream that one day Herschel’s Deli will be talked about on the same level as DiNic’s / *insert favorite cheese steak joint*

I’m through the third act of Kentucky Route Zero and I thought this game would resonate with me but it’s just....not.  I’m going to finish it up but I think I’m going to file this one under “not for me”.

That bleu cheese dressing in the stock photo looks suspiciously similar to ranch dressing, which must have been a kitchen mistake.  Why else would ranch dressing be anywhere near the vicinity of buffalo wings?

Lancaster County, PA has my personal Mecca of buffets: Shady Maple. 100 yards of buffet and grilling stations, ICEE and soft serve machines, surrounded by a bouquet of Pennsyltucky’s finest. The basement is an equally large retails space full of trinkets you’d expect to find in any flea market. Read more

I’d love to hear the mental gymnastics of how complaining about supposed lack of diversity and pejoratively dismissing someone’s hard work as “so white” is in any way acceptable.

I would love to hear what “so white” equates to, because it sure sounds like you’re using your own inherent bias and racism to unjustly malign a cookbook in which the author canvassed multiple sources.  Also, incorporating race into a cookbook that is a regional homage is beyond reaching.

Fun fact: early hunting was often an exercise in attrition. Apparently standing upright allows for us to travel longer at a moderate pace as opposed to shorter distances at a quick pace like lots of animals humans ate. In the event that early humans couldn’t get the jump on some unsuspecting dinner, they would simply Read more

I hate that “I’m a feminist” cop out. This isn’t about feminism, or women’s rights, this is about how Treem has treated those in a subordinate position to herself. And she failed miserably.

Given how Bungie takes a month off to start the new year, this is the worst possible time to issue such a buggy patch.
