Yeah, this guy complaining about that seems kinda ass-hat-ish.

For some of their games like GTA 4, yeah, bad port. But Max Payne 3 had a FAR superior PC version compared to console, and is one of the best PC ports I've ever played. Not only does it control well, they added DX11 support, and had higher textures, uncompressed sound and cutscenes, etc., just for the PC version.

Max Payne 3 is one of the best ports of all time. Fantastic mouse control, DX11 features, and completely uncompressed audio/video. It's by far the best version of the game.

As far LA Noire, I'm not sure about that one, haven't played it on PC.

Because why would they? There's no competition for them. If you want to download an Xbox One game, you need to buy it on Microsoft's store. If you want a game for PC, you can buy it on Steam, Green Man Gaming, Amazon, Good Old Games etc. Even for games that require Steam, you can get the codes from other places a lot

My PC case has LEDs like that, and it uses negligible power, has lasted for years (my PC is on almost 24/7, had the case since 2008 or 2009), and looks pretty awesome.

Is anyone else having issues getting GamersGate to load the Dishonored page?

Ah, well, I need to leave for work, hopefully I can get the page to load tonight, I've been waiting for a deal like that.

I can understand your roommate. I'm always using my PC, and my 360 is hooked up to my monitor. So, I'll think to myself, "self, you should play your 360". Then I realize that my controller is underneath a bunch of shit, and my games are across the room, and I find something to play on Steam instead. =(

And Counter-Strike!

While the gay Teletubbies "controversy" was real, what you linked to is fake. Landover Baptist is a satire site, not a real church. It's intentionally mocking fundamentalist Christianity.

Ugh, not sure if I want for PC or 360. I vastly prefer PC, and have a good rig, but GTA4 was so shitty for PC, and back then my rig was worse, so I went for the 360 copy. Then, RDR never even came out for consoles. So, for Max Payne 3, I was dead set on getting it for 360, but didn't have the cash to get it at launch,

If people want to make fake video games about eating people's hearts or the holocaust, why can't they? Plenty of psychos make films and write books about their delusions, why not games?

I will just choose not to play them, just as I can choose not to watch certain movies.

Exactly. The FPS genre does get into ruts (WWII shooters last gen, modern this gen), but it has never become irrelevant, and has some of the most diverse gameplay and story telling of any genre.

Even games that have a similar focus can be dramatically different. Look at CS, and then look at Modern Warfare. Both modern

How is Super Hexagon not on this list? It was a friggin' GotY nominee last year. I have it on PC, and I figured "why not, it's 2.99", and holy shit, I just can't stop playing it.

They are, I think their monthly patches are pretty great, although I wish they'd put a little focus on sPvP.

I bought my GTX 660 a couple of weeks ago, it's dropped 20 bucks since then and they added the Metro Last Light offer.

One of the reasons that World of Warcraft will always have a place in my heart is how it gave me the escape I needed when my dad was dying of cancer when I was in high school 5 years ago.

I don't think that I want to play this game, due to not wanting to experience those feelings from a game any time soon, but it does

And that's a mentality that I don't like about a lot of newer games. Games should teach you well enough to figure it out, but they shouldn't hold your hand, and games SHOULD have "wrong" ways of playing, so that the player has to use his mind to figure out the efficient and correct ways of playing.

Alright, I find this new layout a bit confusing, but I actually like it so far.

The 660ti is gimped horribly by the 192-bit bus, the standard 660 is a vastly better buy for the money, costing nearly 30% less while giving you almost identical performance.
