They generally do a cycle where every 3 years there's a new "full" game with multiplayer, and then they fill in the other years with side games like Wars, ODST, Anniversary. This time, though, there's only 2 years in between Reach and 4, due to 343i working on Halo 4 before Bungie finished Reach.

The shields WERE broken though, they encouraged rushing to melee instead of actually getting off good shots. Shields didn't matter, they were just an extension of HP, in Reach shields vs Health actually mattered.

I have a 360 and I'm buying this game for it, but I played the RE games on PS1 eventually... brand loyalty usually isn't that strong, and Xbox wasn't even around back then, I know a lot of people who jumped from PS1 > Xbox or PS2 > Xbox 360. Most people wait for a bit and see which console looks like it is going to

That's not true, dude. That's one of the reasons they switched to a single shot, because the BR had spread issues in Halo 3. There was even articles on Bnet explaining the spread because people had issues with it. Only the first shot went right on the reticle, the other 2 bullets had spread.

Story wise, yes. The story was pretty damn weak in Reach, and them fucking up the canon made me rage. But gameplay wise? Reach had a fucking fun campaign to play, one of the best, IMO.

While some of the Reach changes (armor lock, slow speed/low jumps, etc) annoyed me, I personally loved the DMR. No more shitty spread issues that plagued Halo 3. Also, I really liked the new shield system, since it actually made shields matter and stopped stupid AR rushes, and 343i just throwing away that excellent

You won't be fighting the same enemies, the Human/Covenant war ended in Halo 3... we'll probably be fighting Forrunner AI, along with some other new stuff. And I don't really see how they're milking it CoD style, they only release a new main title with MP every 2-3 years. I like new stuff, but I hope they don't change

What? The game has an obscene amount of character skins, it already came with a ton and then we've gotten like 15+ more through the Season Pass. =/ I thought the season pass turned out great for this game. 30 bucks for a shitload of great maps, some characters and gun skins, and an awesome 4-5 hour campaign expansion.

You can play just fine with people who do or don't have the DLC, don't listen to these guys. The only issue is if you're trying to join a friend who has all the DLC, while you don't, you can't join his game in progress due to how the dedicated servers handle maps. But have your friend back out, and then both of you

That's because he was already in a game on a server. You can just have him leave after that match, and if you both join together it will work great. I have all the DLC, my buddy has none, we play together every week.

Wait, so you guys DON'T actually eat babies on the other side of the pond?

You don't think he thought of that? I don't have any tattoos, but I don't get the whole "you'll regret it later" thing. He obviously thought it through, especially with a tattoo that took as much time and cost as much as that thing. I think, if anything, later on in life he'll look at the tattoo as a reminder of the

That does look pretty awesome.

Yeah, its definitely worth 20 bucks, but if you have Fable 2 I'd play that instead. Fable 3 dumbed down the series a lot, and the only real thing that I enjoyed in it was the writing. Its still worth a playthrough if you like the games, though.

Mullets never die.

Fable 3 was basically Fable 2 with way crappier combat and less functionality, but some great dialogue and voice acting. I loved Fable 2, but Fable 3 was merely OK in my opinion.

Sure, I'd like to see what you're working on, what is it?

Yeah, Fable 3 wasn't bad, but stuff like removing a lot of functionality to make Kinect work, and getting rid of Fable 2's awesome magic system annoyed me. But 1 and 2 were great games.

I just used my Razer Onza for both my 360 and my PC. So yeah, games like DMC4 suck with keyboard and mouse, but you can just plug in a 360 controller, and most games automatically detect it and it works great (many games even change prompts in game to match the correct buttons).

I loved Fable 1.
