My GameStop isn't even doing one... =/ Me and a couple buddies were all pumped to go.

What if instead of him being completely straight the whole time, he's bi but none of the previous people aboard the Normandy were gay/bi, at least openly?

I understand that US history is pretty brief and uneventful compared to other countries (at least until about 100 years ago), but I still think that the revolutionary war is kind of a cool setting. However, thanks for actually bringing up a solid point instead of saying "DURR THERES A FLAG MUST BE AMERIKUH".

Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, I get the itch to play WoW sometimes, but I suck at playing games like that "casually", and I don't wanna get into it too hardcore, either, so I'm just staying away for now, lol.

I got my first 360 the day the Elites came out, and despite them supposedly having a lower failure rate, I still had mine RRoD 2 times. Most of my friends have had RRoD, too, although a couple haven't had any issues ever. I was pissed when my console RRoD the first time, but it was paid for under warranty, so it

Why is it that because the game involves USA it is instantly "FUCK YEAH AMERIKUH!!!"? Trust me, I know some people who really are like that, and I can't stand them, but why is the fact that this game involves the revolutionary war make it instantly aimed at ignorant Americans?

This doesn't stop pirates, but it does affect customers, and lowers their perceived value of the game. Doing shit like this means more people will either pirate the game, or just avoid playing it altogether.

Well congrats on getting one. I pre-ordered mine a few months ago and got it at GameStop, normally I don't bother pre-ordering too far ahead, so I guess it was lucky that I decided to this time, since Limited Edition generally means that they make so many copies that they end up selling for half price later on

Oh yeah, that game is going to account for a few thousand hours of sitting on my ass... Counter-Strike is a good game for pouring a ridiculous amount of time without ever actually playing for too long, it just adds up, lol. Because its really addictive, but a round only lasts around 3-4 minutes usually, so you can

Bah, I just realized that I replied to myself in that comment. Read above ^

Yeah I loved Doom 3, but the extremely tight corridors and the monsters either coming out of closets or spawning behind you got old. I loved the hell out of Rage though. Doom 3 and Rage aren't really at all like their old games, but they're awesome regardless.

Doom 3 wasn't really like 1/2/Final at all, but it was still really good and fun in its own way. And if you played it more, maybe you'd like it better, because about half way through the game it stops trying to scare you with stupid closet Imps or enemies spawning behind you and becomes a pretty legit action game.

Danny Trejo makes everything better.

What's funny, is that you might have pre-ordered your own old copy, lol. Amazon's "new" amount of N7 editions were supposedly the copies that were originally intended for GAME.

That happened to me with my Xbox 360 at GameStop. I'd been saving up for one, and then when I had enough they announced the 360 Elite with the 120GB HDD and sexy black color, so I pre-ordered the console, went in there the day after launch (was out of town launch day), and they said they hadn't gotten enough to fill

And yay, this is the second time this week that a comment I have made had enough replies to get featured, lol. Although last time it was because people were mad at me because I said I prefer retail or subscription over f2p with microtransactions... =(

Ha, hey, I don't think its necessarily irresponsible. It only becomes that if it actually takes over your life, like quitting a job that you need, or neglecting a child, or something... Back when I played WoW I was raiding 5-6hrs a night 5 days a week, plus playing whenever else I could, so I understand. But I was

Hey, to be fair I wasn't trying to criticize him really, I really am just wondering when something goes from "stuff thrown around on the internet" to "this rumor is possible enough to post on Kotaku". And I know the pictures do look real, and those seem quite legit, I was only referring to the "the game is cancelled"

That's true, but if they're following what they did before, with Doom 3 being a remake of 1, and this one likely being a loose remake of Doom 2: Hell on Earth, this could make a lot of sense, and it would be a good game for them to try something new like more open environments. Remember, these are only a few screens,

So seeing something like image 2 in real life wouldn't scare the shit out of you? And Doom has never really been about the scares, the only one to focus on them was Doom 3 and even then, after you got through the first third of the game it turned into much more of an action game than a horror game.
