Except for the fact that buying games will actually use up space on the memory card. When you play split screen, that same controller can be used for every game. When you buy a memory card, it can only hold so many games before you need to buy another one.

My friends and I lend games out to each other, but just a couple of days ago I found out that my copy of Mass Effect 1 was lost because my friend let his cousin play it. >.> *rage*

I understand how the RAM on consoles works, but with 1080p TVs being the standard, textures need to improve. They're just horrible, yet they're the easiest way to make a game look fantastic if you have the RAM.

I'm sorry, by built in, in my head I was thinking "packed in".

I didn't get my console at launch either, I got my 360 in 2007 (day that the Elite edition came out, was still in high school so I had been saving for a 360 since launch). Still haven't picked up a PS3 yet but I plan on it this summer to play through the exclusives that I've missed. I've wanted one, but between my 360

Hurry up with it already.

*facepalm*

They shouldnt've had high hopes for this book anyways. Because William C. Dietz is a shitty writer.

This is the awesome kindof writing that makes me choose Kotaku over the more generic gaming sites.

Ah, thank you for the clarification. I knew the film that was disputed originally was the steamboat one, but I didn't know it was restrictive to the film itself.

Too bad Mickey Mouse would be public domain by now anyways if Disney weren't lobbying, bribing, dickwads.

Not sure how I feel about the Yes/No/Not Yet since games are so subjective, but I always read the full reviews anyways.

That does sound pretty frickin' awesome.

Nice dude. Its such a good feeling when you do that XD

Sorry dude, quick scoping in CoD is not skill based. I used to play a lot of CoD, and it was never hard to do (unless they made it harder in MW3 or something).

This. In some games, sniping is skill based. In CoD, sniping is fuckstupid easy, and I still don't get why they consider easy to pull off, auto-aim heavy, instant kills to be skill based.

I think my favorite lucky Halo kill was in Halo 3. I was riding on the back of a Mongoose with the SR on High Ground. While the guy was riding around all crazy, I somehow no-scoped a guy off of the top of the bridge from halfway across the map, while in 3rd person and being thrown around.

I think I'm in the top 10, if not the top 1 of many indie games.

I know I named it story based, but if you look at my explanations of them I said it was focused on the dialogue. I should've named it something more appropriate though.

I have the same issues, I hate their video player. And I'm running Windows 7, using the newest version of Firefox, on a good gaming computron, with a good internet connection.
