No love for XCOM2? Round based strategy with small, constmizable squads. Just as good as XCOM Enemy unknown (I'm curious to see if it'll get an expansion along the lines of Enemy Within).

I'm mystified that a ship like that wouldn't have an emergency plan for someone waking up to early. That, and the whole romance angle means I'm not really interested.

Eh, I disagree with Warcraft being on the list. It was certainly imperfect, but I'd argue it's still compeling and at the very least interesting. I've never seen anything like it on the big screen. I say this as a non-fan, too, I've not played the games.

Oblivion wasn't a great movie but it had a fantastic score.

Hmm? We had similar promotions twice in Germany, apparently without big problems. To take par you had (from what I've seen) register, combine ingedients and then vote for designs. The most popular burger ideas became real limited time products.

Warcraft is actually much better than I would have expected. Very accessible despite the many characters, and although it doesn't reinvent the wheel it's done competently and has some nice shots and such (the trailers do it a disservice I would think).
If the general public gives it a chance it could do pretty well.

Fast&Furious were always somewhat campy ensemble pieces, I see no reason why this wouldn't work for Trek. And I mean…this was an early trailer under two minutes, it's not necessarily going to be representative of the whole movie anyways.
In other words, I agree! (and I'm a TOS fan, too)

I sincerely doubt many Germans feels that way, considering how random those gendered nouns are. The only people who claim stuff like that are questionable linguists and non-native speaker I suspect.
