It’s the most hectic, nerve-wracking city. Imagine having to take the 16 Bus to the ballpark looking like you’re riding through Gary, IN next to some kid with orange hair, next to some anti-vaxxer with polio, right next to some dude who just got off from his job as a jail guard, right next to some 30-year-old girl

It’s a moot point now the game is over, but I honeslty don’t know what’s worse. Liberty being able to say, “We’re good at basketball” or Tech being able to say, “We’re good at football AND basketball”.

I’m pretty sure if you were the head editor of a newspaper and started yelling and running over to one of the reporters to the point where other staff members felt the need to push you back and tell you to chill, you’d be fired by the board/president/owner pretty quickly.

I can tell you why: Lion Air has a pretty bad safety record. It wouldn’t be a surprise to me if pilots on that airline experience an issue and shrug it off like, “well, that was weird, probably won’t happen again”. Meanwhile airlines with good safety records (like Ethiopia), are prone to have a policy in place that

I’d go so far as to say all of them were either trolls or SJW’s who were clearly upset about the double standard applied to going topless.

They were a “social liberal” watching a rich white man make even more money. That’s pretty offensive to them.

Do you know how long it takes to charge a car, even using the level III fast chargers? I mean, you might as well get out, take a walk, get a bite to eat. You’re going to be there for longer than 15 minutes. Maybe if the technology improves to where some level IV charger can rival the times of a gas pump, but for now,

Exactly my main critique. Electrical engineer opinion: Even if you had the contacts under the car covered, water and dirt will still find their way into there. Under a car is a very unforgiving environment and I can only imagine it would take a small amount of dirt to get into the mechanism and then it just stays

So, feeling that way, he writes a generally positive piece about the school’s AD and then doesn’t understand why people cry conflict of interest? If I ever go back to school to pursue journalism, I’m certainly not going to look at USC since even their professors don’t know things covered in freshmen journalism courses.

I’ve noticed that too. I remember making fun of grandpas wearing shorts with their socks up to their knees. And wearing baseball caps with a flat bill. Like that is such an uncool look.

This isn’t “my city” but I’ll add this for New York: Skip the Empire State Building. Definitely check out Rockefeller Center, and if you have the time and don’t mind another observatory, One World Center Trade Center.

The driver of the SUV was a 77-year-old man who thought the vehicle was in reverse, when he hit the accelerator and was in drive instead.

I believe I’ve recounted this story on here, or Jalopnik, or Deadspin, so I won’t repeat it. But, this reminds me of the time I saw a woman go ape-shit over the “quality” of a Subway sandwich.

As someone who lives in Charlottesville and attended a school that is not named “The University of Virginia”, yes that would be hilarious and yes, I am pulling for that.

Rule #1 in dealing with the media:

Forgive me for being an ignorant non-New Yorker, but looking at Google Maps, it does appear as though there is a rail line, complete with electrified rail, that curves eastward out of the Belmont Park station spur. Why couldn’t that be used/fixed up for use?

If I had the spare cash and an itching for a Cherokee made before they were built exclusively for soccer moms, I’d buy it. NP

Or, you know, in a world where a parent stays home with the kids, which considering the price of child care these days definitely doesn’t seem antiquated or uncommon.

Why is there a cell phone video of a computer playing a video?!
