What’s in Perth? No idea, all I know about Australia is:

I have numerous thoughts. This probably doesn’t warrant the energy and consideration required for any of these but I am nothing if not a sucker for this crap so here goes.

The article mostly discusses what Russia or China could do to sink one. It totally overlooks what we have been, and likely will continue using them for. That is to project air superiority over a country with little to no navy of their own. The ability to launch planes and attacks when no friendly air base is available

Part of me knows that battleships are both impractical and just as vulnerable to air attack, and the current doctrine has done away with such gunships, but part of me also wants to see these big floating fortresses get backup from big, bad, 9-barrel motherfuckers similar to Missouri and Iowa.

So much hype around the Dodge Demon and yet this Nissan Maxima is clearly a hell of a drag racer.

I’ll reserve judgement until we see where this lands on the Fast ‘N’ Loud / Wheeler Dealers spectrum.

It is still not clear to the family how Malachi got his hands on the dangerous weapon. Stephens said that he got the gun from a friend who got it from someone else. Investigators are looking into finding out who originally had the gun and passed it to the friend, the news station notes.

A third... My ex and I needed another car, but didn’t really have any money for one. My parents decided to get a new car and gave me their old one, a ‘91 ford tempo. Shitty, shitty car, but better than a bicycle. They lived in GA, I in MN. I bought a one way ticket to Atlanta and planned on driving the car home. I got

Another one, not really a stranded... drove from AL to Eau Claire, WI for a job interview in my ‘87 suburban. While in WI, a snowstorm hit. We had a slow drive ahead of us and left early the next morning. Somewhere south of Madison, we hit black ice. We spun 450 degrees right in front of a semi (it was a Freightliner,

At the time, my ex and I rented a house kind of out in the middle of nowhere. It was a 15 mile drive to the nearest gas station. I forgot to buy gas on my way home one afternoon. I made it home, but didn’t think I’d make it back to the gas station. The next morning, my ex had to work (I was off) so we set out in

Clean entry and very little splash. 9/10.
