I read the book when it first came out in the UK and I ended staying up literally all night to finish it because I just couldn't put it down. I think the last time that happened was when I was still a teenager. Then I had to read it again to pick up on all the bits I missed with my mad dash through.

I read the book based of io9's review and absolutely loved it. As a general rule of thumb spacer opera type books are not my cup of tea so it has to be something really special for me to get into it and Ancillary Justice really is.
