Yep - I'm starting to wonder if the reason Amy's being going through all that is that she's the first risen.

I loved the Felix/Tony interactions - the whole who can make who more uncomfortable. It also made Felix feel more like a sibling to the clones. He and Sarah share a talent for shit stirring and having another clone also being a bit of a shit stirrer made Felix feel more like a brother to the of them. Something that…
I thought Simon's reactions to putting on the cover-up were so sweet and him and Kieron before the lunch was lovely. But then after Kieron's rising account you can just see that one bit of niceness in his life being snatched away again. It was so sad. Also, poor Amy.
This is really interesting. I've been lucky to get some dirt cheap student tickets to see the ballet, I live in a city with an excellent ballet company. When you see the dancers do moves like this its truly astonishing but its over so quickly that it's hard to take in the details.
I think a large part of the panic is because it's happening at the same time as Drew Goddard leaving Daredevil.
It's sweet in a creepy kind of way.
But that doesn't mean "good drama" and "fidelity to the facts as far as possible" are necessarily mutually exclusive
Actually the historical accuracy thing is a bit disingenuous. Yes some things can be more factually correct than others but we're talking about people who lived centuries ago and had completely alien motivations. We literally would sit there thinking 'why the fuck did they just do that, it makes no sense'. We can…
I grew up near Manchester and can honestly say that I've never heard an accent quite like it before. God alone knows what he/NBC are going for.
Yeah I was wondering what they're going for with that accent. It sure as hell ain't Liverpudlian but I'm just chuffed it's not too plummy. I swear to god every time you get a Brit character on American TV whether they're played by an American or Brit they've got the plummiest accent going. Less than 2% of the UK…
Yep - I was watching this thinking 'this is cool-ish' and then suddenly 'FEATHERS FEATHERS OH MY GOD FEATHERS!!!!!'
JJ lazy - never!! ... Oh wait
Have a Tintoretto as well
Holy Crap - I thought I would be totally alone in my Ivor the Engine love. The small red welsh dragon was also my first dragon.
Wow from the makers a Spooks, now there is a statement that instills confidence that they will match the brilliant characterisation, careful increase of tension, and atmosphere of the original and not just throw it all away in favor of nonsensical explosions.
Actually this stuff came up a few times. Tyrol made a still in S1 (i think) cause they were running out of booze. Adama gives Starbuck his last cigar (S1 also) and then in the last season Starbuck puts up a tube of toothpaste as a prize for her pilots. I know from S3 (i think) onwards they were all eating what was…
Came to post the same thing. Its fun when the Wednesday Webcomic is one you know because it means that story is getting more publicity but I still kinda miss being introduced to new comics as well.
Sandi Toksvig actually hosts her own panel show. It's on Radio Four and called The News Quiz and is just brilliant. When she took over hosting it she insisted on having as many female guests as male. procrastinationathon already mentioned Francesca Martinez as one of the regulars but most of the guests are excellent.
These are so cool and so much fun!
This so much!
