Can’t mention a better knockoff than the original without talking about the UJM (universal Japanese motorcycle).

Here before the LMNOPQRST+ people decide to rip the editors a new one.
We’re either looking at the worst way to live or the best way to die.
This is the kind of utterly pointless and over-the-top useless feature that should definitely be equipped in other utterly pointless and over-the-top supercars.
Oh man, you’re absolutely right about that too. Not sure if it’s the nostalgia getting to me either, which is also why I get second thoughts about it. And that’s especially now that I’ve been leaning into motorcycles a lot more (ok maybe pun intended) and I personally think they’re just far more usable when the…
Exactly. I’m in this demographic and everyone I talk to about buying a new car says cars are just too damn expensive, so this is clearly the indicator. American automakers just aren’t willing to cater to our market, so we don’t need them.
MR2nded. Miss mine so much I’m really considering buying another one, because the person I sold it to (close friend I met in college) won’t let it go.
I didn’t even think about that, good mention!
Bad news: if you really want to combat Chinese cars while transitioning to electric, you can’t.
Not sure if this is getting any cool points actually. Posting a photo of the car in the middle of a yacht party already lost some. And their Stirling Moss is just MILES cooler. Then Ferrari made their SP1, Aston Martin did their Speedster, Mclaren did their Elva, and I’m just not sure who this is clawing at aside from…
There’s a lot to be said about getting a dream car or maybe even a more practical luxury daily for this question, but honestly I’d get back into the car I miss the most of them all, the SW20 MR2. More specifically the final versions with the red-top BEAMS engine (which was swapped into my car while I had it).
The 550 Maranello had a leather-wrapped roll cage.
For every one car this carbon capture plant “removes” from the road, it gives millions of humans the impression that they can rest on their laurels and pollute the equivalent of three.
I got so bored one day that I started adding the entire catalog of Autozone and Pep Boys parts to my 2006 Prius. I’d take it to car meets, park next to the nice JDM cars, and people would ask me what I’ve done to the car. I’d say things like “it has 500 wheel horsepower to the crank” and “I did an intake delete, oil…
See I would’ve posted this if I didn’t still love these.
Man, guilty as charged here.
Gotta admit it’s pretty neat the way it looks, like we’re getting Cyberpunk 2077 53 years early (not that we actually would want that). But man, can we find a design that isn’t based on something from the olden days?
I see where the original Mercedes GLK came from.
Dang we really gonna talk about this subject without talking about the Isuzu Axiom? I mean most of it was thanks to Spy Kids so...
Looks like the kind of car that an action/sci-fi movie spent time working on to hype up the regular version way back in the 2000s, only to receive below 20% on Rotten Tomatoes and box office sales of $10 million against a budget of $70-80 million.
