Just Mother Nature asking about the extended car warranty.

My understanding is that Abbott, having gotten attention by his tantrum, declared success and was going back to business as usual, but with the bonus of having “Fixed” this major problem at the border.

The efficiency of the electrical system is quite a bit better than gasoline, but that weight advantage for gasoline is tough to beat. The weight would be more equal if the oxygen was also carried along with the gasoline and all the combustion products had to be kept in a container.

They very much did. That was the complaint - they changed the force of the detent spring and did not change the lock number. Because of that no one could trace the design change from the dealer buying a replacement part and it could not be traced in production.

Other way around. They changed the key cylinder design and kept the original part number.

The UPS doesn’t hire “contract” delivery. Often they are under contract for last-mile delivery for Amazon and the like.

Those look likely to increase inflationary pressure, at least near the waistband.

Most of them were obliterated by the Brits. I suspect they decided there were better things to do with the explosives. Looks like weather is taking care of it now.

I’m going to need a link to a structure that an engineer can’t damage. We are crafty.

The current cost of electricity from nuclear seems to be at least 2X from oil and gas and, due to scale and improved production, solar and wind is heading to be 1/10th the cost. That leaves a ton of money in that gap that can go to batteries or gravity storage to level the load. Oil and gas can standby for peaking.

I see that Kinja is doing its usual rearrangement of links to move the associated text out-of-order.

I would be the #1 is lawn mowing companies. The ones using 40 hp stand-on mowers to clear small residential lots in 10 minutes followed by 30 minutes of using lawn edgers to get the spots the rider can’t and then another 20 minutes to blow the weed clippings either into the street or into rooting contact to hide the

That’s what, 140 bananas?

I watched a good video on the subject of nuclear energy from a very pro-nuclear physicist. Basically: not going to happen because it costs far more than any alternative and those costs keep rising. Wind and solar are doing so much cheaper it is ridiculous. Even if they really want to, the reserves of radioactive fuel

Steam engine cars can run on anything that burns; I guess weed would be stoke and toke.

I asked what affected you. I guess you are a CORPORATE politic, whatever that is. No wonder you hurt so badly, what with record profits.

There are about 3000 containers visible on deck. The ship capacity is 12,000 TEU, which is based on 20 foot long containers; 40 foot is more typical, so 6,000 40 foot containers can be on board.

Were I to be parroting it, you would be able to link to the multiple sources of it. You won’t be able to.
