I have been to a few US based Road races and never have been disappointed in the access and racing. Road America, Petite LeMans, and Ohio to name a few. Many of the members of the local Tesla club did that to get their cars. So they got tax breaks on interest and the $7500 credit for an EV. None of those folks seem worse for the wear. I don’t think it a bad idea (a) if you have the means and (b) you pay the darn thing off.
