I had a 1981 320i relatively rust free. I made the big mistake of selling it a few years ago. I regret it every day. I made an offer to buy it back from the current owner two weeks ago and got turned down. Cant find many clean ones these days, so I might be joining you in the 320 rustbucket club here in the near

This is the first time I did not say that when viewing this car from the back. The Alpina spoiler kind of makes it look right.... kind of.

These trucks will always have a special place in my heart... A 86 Nissan pickup was my first car. I had a pretty severe case of teenage "I'm the best driver in the world" syndrome... so since it made it through that, I can second the fact that these things are HARD to kill.

Dam. I wish that I was down in your area... I need someone like that on my team. I’m glad you found someone like that. I hear that in the first conversions done, it was common place that adding cruise control back in was not addressed. It requires adding a sensor (drilled and taped into the case) and coding it into

Good! Glad to hear it! Did they put in a different bell housing or alter your original? Dam, For 3k you could part out your old SMG stuff and almost come out even. I love my manual m///, except for when I botch a heel toe downshift and upset the balance of the car. For the split second that I am regaining control, I

It is obviously a new orange ninja turtle ooze used for male enhancement... I don’t know if it comes stock, or if you have to opt for the package upgrade upgrade package.

3 years old now... and sill worth a star. It was in AZ too!!! no way! Too perfect!!!

Is putting a Bugatti badge on a Palmer Johnson yacht like putting a Schwinn sticker on a Bugatti car?

I call that "strange reason" something... what was it... oh yah. Its called "fucking badass". That's it! :-)

Me too. But if you don’t listen to the Jezza, you get punched in the face.

My local BMW Indy shop had a m5 in for service while I was there. The cars owner was getting the rod bearings preemptively replaced. I asked how much something like that would cost. I braced for impact... but it was only around $2000.00 Still a lot of money for something you should not have to do every 50k miles, but

Gordon Murray does not know how to design sports cars... Jeremy Clarkson told me so.

Sarcasm. I was on your side. I didn’t even notice that you had started backing away from your choice of car before my post. My point was... Buy the car YOU want. Have fun! If your looking at a used V10, just keep some extra coin to fix stuff. I think there is a fair amount of fear mongering concerning these cars /

Yes. From the curb, it doesn’t really look like much. But once you get inside, it’s got a real ass on it

I would get one... if I had a Key to the God Dam Gate!

You should probably not get the car. It will just break. In fact, don't get a car at all. They all just break eventually. Just get a bus pass. That's the smart, economical thing to do. Plus the larger size of the bus is better for running over your dreams and crushing them to death anyways. It's a win win.

I think most e46 m3’s will end up with the manual conversion. How do you like yours? Anything noteworthy from the process? Did you put in the wrench time? During some recent shopping I ran across a few that had been converted... One of them was not discovered to be a former SMG until the PPI (Buying at a distance). If

With the noise it makes..., I would call it more crystal than glass.

I live in Spokane, WA (just over the boarder form Idaho) and when I see someone do something dumb in traffic, I look at their plate... Its usually Idaho. Its funny how they get to the “Big City” (Spokane is small) and just freak out. My two favorite Idaho driver moves are #1. Going the wrong way on a one way and #2.
