Not deactivating until the headlights crest the hill is no worse than a human controlling the high beams. As for the bouncing, they already adjust that to stabilize the beam as best they can.

Now playing

What they are talking about is a high beam that is on 100% of the time, but creates a shadow around oncoming cars so you don’t blind them. This video shows pretty clearly what they can do:

I don’t think that’s correct, both my first 2 cars had a separate high beam projector, and the lows didn’t shut off when you switched to highs. My current has a separate high beam, but it only turns on when you flash the high beams. The primary bulbs are HIDs so it just lifts the shroud when its only normal high beams.

I would bet the Empire State building would qualify.

I think, at some level, Jon has always know that there was something fishy about his parentage. The fact that Ned Stark, the most honorable man in all of Westeros would cheat on his wife is downright unbelievable, and Jon knows it. I doubt he thought he was a Targaryen, but I think some part of him has always

Last I checked, this is still sucking the tailpipes of an M550d touring, which has 394hp and 561 torques from a quad-turbo 3.0L I6. And a -60 of 4.6 sec.

You are assuming the market’s hand isn’t forced by governments simply making new ICE vehicles illegal. There are already 9 countries that have ICE phase-outs on the books, starting with Norway in 2025.

external GPU, daisy-chaining 4k monitors NAS access.  They exist.

Some are, some aren’t. Car and Driver got 41 mpg out of a 330i on a real-world 75mph highway drive(EPA rating is 34). However other turbo cars fell far short of their EPA claims.  BMW seems to typically beat the EPA highway test in the real world.

especially coming from someone living in a country that made it’s living by fighting wars until it expanded to the point where it was no longer able to keep up with itself.

To be perfectly clear, every single country on the planet was created by colonizers/conquerors. Not one country can lay claim to being run/ruled by its original inhabitants in a single, unbroken chain. The United States(and really all of North and South America) just happen to be a bit more recent than others.

The 4GC is a liftback with a flat folding rear seat, giving it more interior space than the 3. And I think it looks better.

They aren’t removing the RWD 2-series coupe.  They are adding a FWD 2-series 4-door.

Because the next get 2-series coupe that replaces the current-gen 2-series coupe will remain RWD. They are simply adding a 4 door 2 series that is FWD. They are removing zero RWD cars from the lineup, and adding one extra car that happens to be FWD.

The current 2 series is a coupe only. The new 2 series will split, and have a chassis for the 2-door RWD coupe and a different chassis for the 4-door FWD/AWD gran coupe.

If it allows them to make proper BMWs than what is the issue? If it wasn’t for these cars we wouldn’t get the M2/3/4/5/6/8 that we get today.  It’s a necessary evil if you want to continue to get greatness from the ‘traditional’ lineup.

Wikipedia has a fairly long list of airline crashes due to pilot error here.  It’s not comprehensive, but it shows how often a crash is due to a human failing at flying a plane.  Most recent entry is TransAsia Airways flight 235 2/6/15.  The plane suffered a flame out in one of its 2 engines, the pilot shut down the

don’t even need to do that.  First stop you make from speeds above 30mph is enough to knock off your average day-to-day rust.

Meyle has some really cheap rotors(~$150 for a full set of 4) with a really good coating on them. I have a street set and a second set for track days, never have any rust outside of the swept area on either set. Even the vanes remain rust free. I drive the car year-round through CT winters(used to be NJ and MD

Or you weld the glass to a metal frame and simply bolt a new windshield in with a gasket, rather than having to deal with the adhesives.  Depending on production costs it could end up cheaper, or even user replaceable.
