Here’s an idea - stop with this DRL BS and just use the freaking low beam lights and taillights that are already there are the DRL. Car in drive? lights are on. End of story.

Having been in these tire/snow debates for many MANY years, I’ve come to the conclusion that people don’t understand that there are different kinds of snow. Would I try and get away with my AT3W’s in Maine in the winter? No. Do they work great in Utah? Yes.
This year, in a fit of procrastination, I didn't fit my snow tires until the first snowfall of the year. Driving my car both before and after lets me say with confidence that you have no idea what you're talking about to an almost dangerous degree.
I get shit for driving like a grandma in the snow in my truck and people just don’t get what you said about AT tires in the snow. Please forgive me for not wanting to send 5,500 lbs sliding into anyone around me. I’ll take my Subaru on on iPikes over a Raptor on K02s any snowy day.
MT and AT tires suck in snowy conditions and even more so in icy conditions compared to actual snow/winter tires. I have snow rated ATs and they are barely acceptable on snowy roads, I’d much prefer actual snow tires. That little snowflake on the tire doesn’t really mean all that much. Lots of truck/jeep people don’t…
I wasn’t aware that rolling a stop sign was a life saving maneuver lol
For fucks sake it’s a pickup truck. This is hoarding toilet paper all over again. You think Ford isn’t going to make enough trucks? Just like the Corvette, the Bronco, and the (insert “desirable new vehicle” here), these companies are going to keep the plants running as fast as they can until demand runs out. Paying…
72 months is not a reasonable term. 36 months is.
Good plan, but you should have someone else pick your cars. You picked three of the worst in their respective categories in a row.
I welcome you to sit behind me, an average height man (5' 10"), in the back seat of a subcompact car.
If you can afford to pay off a car in 12 months with only a couple grand down, you can afford to buy it outright. If you can afford to buy it outright, it is beneficial to get the longest finance term you can while still keeping the lowest possible interest rate, because then you can do other things with your money…
Well, they will let any idiot publish their mindless bleatings on the internet.
Maybe the solution is to have bigger vehicles that can carry more people in one go through the tunnel. If it’s really high volume, maybe link the larger vehicles together in a chain so that they all travel at once all at the same speed.
It truly is insane, even worse on the LX470 which I really wanted and the only reason I had to settle for a GX. Yes, with the Lexus dealer history pulled it and printed, it was nearly 30 pages with so much work.
>>>For $15k, you could swing a clean hawkeye WRX (06-07)
Yeah, pretending that Tesla managed something well because they have good fundamentals or because they did something better than others has to be a joke.
Tesla doesn’t own a Silicon Fab house, so both premises don’t hold up to scrutiny.
First: from a QA perspective? “Re-writing mainline software on the fly” to code your way around chip issues? Is a terrible strategy that wouldn’t fly in a real company.
Anything that gets less then 20mpg, there are enough solid ways to improve efficiency that there is no excuse for things getting anything less.
Watching this past year’s overlanding hype had me pick up this 1 owner 06 with 230k always dealer serviced miles on it 2 weeks ago. Already got some TRD wheels and meatier rubber and full fluid change/radiator just in case. Ditched the boards and can’t wait to hit the trails this weekend! If anyone is around NOVA let…
