This makes me think of the current state of aviation... and how leaded fuel is STILL being used for a good number of small aircraft.  It’s the same song and dance of the industry resisting change and the government needs to step in because the industry won’t do it on its own.

Dude, they fucking killed him and then lied about it.

Wow. I hope when one of your family members gets pulled over for having expired tags & then gets dragged out of their car & beaten to death, you’re equally insistent that the cops did nothing wrong. Especially after those cops lie about what happened & spend over two years trying to suppress evidence that clearly

Having watched Rodney King getting beat up in high school, then the cops were found not guilty, then the riots in LA, when are cops going to stop this? The coverups are the most disturbing part of all of this, just like what happened in Aurora, Colorado. What is just mind bottling (yes, it’s what I say) is just like

The real answer here is that if you tow larger trailers longer distances, this probably isn’t the truck for you (though the Hybrid F-150 probably is).

But the reality is that for the *three quarters of a million* F-150s sold last year, there’s an incredibly large number of owners that don’t tow anything, or tow very

The news report I saw this morning said that the troopers told the doctor at the hospital where Greene’s body was taken that he died instantly in a car crash. The doctor, in his report, noted that this is did not, in fact, add up because there were taser prongs embedded in Greene’s back. Also, Greene’s car did not

...what if trailers started coming with battery packs to offset the range hit? I know it would add weight but adding battery capacity in the thing that makes you need more capacity rather than just making the truck’s battery bigger seems like a reasonable solution.

To the inevitable reply of “well if he hadnt run from the cops” GO F*CK YOURSELF! Things like this are why people run from the cops in the first place! Clearly this apologizing man needed to be punched in the face, dragged like a sack of potatoes and choked after hed been placed under arrest. Thats why the cops did

The pig who appears to be one of the lead aggressors was informed he would be fired for his role in the arrest, back in September.

I remember watching an episode of Cops with my dad when I was a teen. The cops called a guy out of his house to arrest him. He came peacefully and complied when they told him to lie face down in his gravel driveway. Then two cops jumped up into the air to get more force when they landed on him, and another cop was

If you want to read the AP article without photos and video, as I needed to, it can be found at:

And white people who benefit from white privilege shouldn’t be allowed to turn their faces under the guise of being traumatized. It is one of means by which systemic Racism is allowed to flourish. BIPOC and AAPI have to think about race and Racism every time we leave our homes, and sometimes in our homes. When white

The video is frankly disturbing and traumatizing, so I won’t embed here.”

Remember: “One bad apple spoils the bunch.”

“Instead of rendering aid, the troopers leave the heavyset man unattended, facedown and moaning for more than nine minutes, as they use sanitizer wipes to wash blood off their hands and faces.”

This is precisely why we say all cops are bastards. These police murdered a man, lied about it, and they’re superiors did absolutely everything they could to cover it up.

Agreed. It’s ironic that the right will commonly refer to others as snowflakes, while simultaneously being the most unhinged and easily triggered people out there. It takes a special kind of person to resort to attempted vehicular manslaughter just because some protesters were existing. Good lord.

“As for your Beetle analogy: you would be right if Tesla published promotional material in which they showed people sitting in the rear seats of their cars while Autopilot was driving. “

It’s moronic. I used autopilot this morning and it kicked of on the freeway on a curve. It does that fairly frequently but it only takes once. It also doesn’t see large immobile objects, like walls and trailers. Tesla drivers should be the first to cry foul at this lunacy.

This is what people don’t get when they start talking about how a Subaru isn’t ACTUALLY as good as <Insert BOF off-roader of choice>. The people who buy and drive Subarus don’t CARE about that. They want something that’s “Adequate” off road the dozen or so times a year that matters and drives exactly like a normal car
