Dick, why don’t you just come over. Just 69 the Big Beaver and hit a hard right. It’ll take you no time at all.

I get the others saying this is small fish and nothing to bother about. But it adds up - and it’s not just Ferraris. Nobody buying a $100k Tesla or Taycan needs a $3,500 tax credit. At this point let the credit phase out after $50k MSRP max, there should be an income cap beyond which you’re no longer eligible, AND for…
I hope you laughed in his face and told him it’s pronouced Jal-A-Peeno.
Next episode - how to add blinker fluid to a Mini?
Hey sometimes you’re 300 acres in to plowing a 500 acre field and you just gotta go.
At first I was mortified. But then I saw she double-bagged it. Phew, all good!
Love these things and they’re an absolute steal, but probably not the right car to recommend to someone for reliable transportation that will last many miles with minimal issues.
Does TaskRabbit still exist?
How is refusing a job in the first place because it pays too poorly/doesn’t meet your expected job specs (you know, being an IC and all who can decide what work they do/don’t do) considered “doing shitty work”?
2-300% more business doesn’t mean they’re necessarily making money off that business. This is pretty well documented. Twice as much sales at negative margins is still bad for your business even though you might be way busier.
This is the same tired argument Uber used and you’ve fallen for it. They come out with this PR bullshit while fully well knowing that they NEED the full timers working long shifts to make up the VOLUME they rely on in large markets. Without these full timers there wouldn’t be enough bored college kids or grandmas…
As the current lessee of a Bolt I demand further details as to how the blob in my driveway can gain 8 cylinders. I’m not commuting anymore, so might as well crank up the hair metal.
Exactly what we went through cross-shopping a 2016 Outback with about 15k more miles than a 2018 Outback (also used). They were virtually the same car, but the 2016 was a decent bit cheaper and came with an extended powertrain warranty - I was happy to take on that gamble.
You just reminded me - it’s pretty amazing what a spectacular nosedive Infiniti has taken. 10-15 years ago they were wildly popular...and now it seems like they’re a has-been that is talked about like an upscale Mitsubishi.
I was a teenager and visited the US for the first time right around the time these were new. It was by far the car I was most excited to see on the roads while visiting. Sad that you rarely see them anymore, and usually are all beat to death.
but the M3 had a trip to crazy-town during this era for me.
I’d argue those are completely different market segments. People who want a small, light, and tossable coupe aren’t suddenly going to go buy a Challenger instead...just like someone in the market for a 5 series isn’t going to go buy a decked out Camry even though they may have similar options on paper.
The power bump (and fixing the torque dip) of the new gen seems like such a huge jump from the last car. Almost as much HP and more torque than an S2000 (and a ton of it much earlier on I’m sure, in addition to weighing the same) - and what is absolutely an excellent chassis too. I can’t imagine people are actually…
It’s pretty hilarious how much car people over-buy because they want to go to the track. Yes, I’m glad that these people are interested enough to take their cars to the racetrack and “become one” with them in a safe environment - but I’d love to know how many of these people bought the GT3 instead of a Carrera S…
