Bro, what are you doing? Poor guy’s insurance is going to blacklist him if he starts another fire.

Have you seen the rake on the back of recent SUVs? Utterly pointless. At least with a canopy you can take it off when you need to. No Sawzall needed.

Yup, they just need a shot of testosterone. This isn’t that though.

Funny, we actually bought a small camper last fall and are doing our first camping trip of the year with it this weekend. Certainly nicer having all the stuff in there instead of in the car, not having to set up and break down camp as much, etc. But it’s also a dedicated parking spot in the garage taken up, and let’s

Especially when the outcomes are either “It’s a boy, hooray!” or “It’s a girl, hooray!” presumably. At that point what difference does it make as to how much fan fare you create around the announcement???

As your cars suggest, they’ve arguablly been very good for a while - at least in terms of reliability and cost of ownership, if not visual and tactile appeal.

Amen. This thing isn’t for truck buyers.

That was just an example from my life within the last 3 weeks. Same would apply for camping - our car is filthy after every camping trip, it’d be nice to just be able to toss stuff in the back and have it not be in the car.

Yeah I can’t speak to the “few bags of mulch and flowers” comment - dude could just buy a Camry and be good for that. My only point was that there is an in between from that to needing a full on big boy truck. A short bed by itself wouldn’t be an issue especially if combined with a passthru, combined with a drop down

That wording sure is confusing, but the language you highlighted is directly contradictory to the language I highlighted. Do they mean half of the 1.3% ended up being undocumented? I don’t know, even that doesn’t make sense. Without absolute numbers or clarity it is difficult to get worked up over what exactly “half’

This is true to an extent. Over the last few weeks I’ve hauled dozens of bags of mulch, a king sized bed + headboard (still in boxes), and a bunch of tall plants in the back of our Outback.

The problem with “just tax the rich people” is that eventually, and far sooner than you think, you run out of other people’s money

Seriously - I’m curious to see Schnac’s take on the e-tron GT. With it being pure sex on wheels he’ll probably say something like “was OK, kind of like a Corolla”.

New money vs old money?

Not to blame them because this sort of thing shouldn’t happen in the first place, but there are other methods of payment that wouldn’t have this as a potential risk in the first place

2) My wife’s friend really got screwed. She had a BMW 3 series and knew nothing about cars, so she went to a local shop. He found a few items, she started servicing her car there, among other things. Now they’re married and have two kids!

No need for apologies. Yeah it’s horrible - and it’s just a cycle that keeps on going, just in different flavors. As a % of population I guess these incidents are fewer and farther between than in centuries past - but in absolute numbers it’s still horrible, and statistics mean nothing when it’s you or people close to

How did you get to that dumbass conclusion based on these statistics in the article? -

Seriously. The most recent guy in the news I’m aware of driving a Hyundai is the shithead gunman who killed 8 people in  Georgia. Pretty sure he’s not a “fucking liberal” given what we know about him. Sounds to me like that this pilot would have much nicer words to say about that loser though still.

Think you’re reading just a tad too far in to JBT’s comment?
