Plus it will “feel” quick off the line with that torque and people will be happy. It’s 0-30 or so that pretty much all EVs excel at, and will have buyers thinking it’s faster than it actually is while being perfectly sufficient as well.

Nah, I love my Bolt but the range here is pretty much equivalent - 250 vs 259? And it’s a bigger vehicle, will have better fit and finish, and be more useable for the average family. So at a starting price pretty close to a nicely equipped Bolt I think this is a decent deal if you need a true family vehicle.

So...have you bought it yet? :P

Death penalty, obviously! - says the pro-lifers

Seriously, all these fools acting like this is Job #1 and the biggest emergency of all time, while we have over 200k Americans dead and millions unemployed whose protections have run out. Sickening.

That’s amazing. I hope it gives you many more decades of love. Please share pics sometime if you have any on you!

Great info, and I’m forever lustful about your RWD E91 - I remember you mentioning it in the past. Never, ever sell it. And if you do, I’d like to get on your speed dial list please, just give me enough notice to be able to sell a kidney on the black market :)

I too agree that these cars are good lookers - but as good as they look on the outside, even glancing at a picture of the interior is vomit inducing.

I don’t know, the Model 3 is genuinely well reviewed as a great drivers car. And there is something to be said for their charging network. If I could afford one, I’d probably buy one with the only concern being the stupid image associated with the company and Musk himself. But perhaps I haven’t paid close enough

Seriously, that thing looks great!

Yeah with my Spark even on regular commutes in the winter I was watching my range. With the Bolt that extra range really takes away a lot of those thoughts even if you rarely use it.

These things are geting rare and expensive too. Also no dash hump - this is a great find! Objectively expensive, but for these cars it’s a decent asking price at this point, assuming you can talk them down a bit. No sport package, but still a nice looker. Personally I’d want a RWD version of this car, but those are

Let me promise you that nobody, NOBODY, is buying these for $40k. Would you buy any Chevy at MSRP?

Agreed - and this is exactly what I hate about all the Model 3/Bolt comparisons. They aren’t even remotely competitors. Sure - maybe if you look at MSRP, but if you’re buying a Bolt for $43K you need to have your wallet locked up.

But with lease deals this good on new ones it’s a pretty good bet that you’re paying around the same or less for a brand new one under a lease than you will lose in depreciation on a used car with unknown history/issues in the future.

Ehh, no. As a Bolt lessee I’ll be the first to admit that I would never BUY one of these used. That thing is nowhere near done depreciating. $17k today, will easily be well below $10k in 3 years. I’d rather pay that cash in the form of a lease (which is what I’m doing) for a brand new car with full warranty, and

Bolt driver here - and got it mainly because of the crazy deal I got on it. On the looks, sometimes I catch a glance at it and think damn they alllmost had it. The shape itself is quite attractive, and there are some nice swooping lines. Personally I hate the plastic piece at the top of the C pillar the most, the

Yup, I love that whine...and it gets louder when you put it in “Sport” mode lol.

That’s an incredible deal for the writer you heard from - although I’d be hesitant to pay up front on a lease (e.g. in case of accident write-off you lose all your money?).
