Ssshhh, sarcasm. I debated adding the /S tag but assumed it was so, so obvious. But guess it wasn’t!

Seriously, I blame Trump. Writing this I couldn’t imagine anyone thinking this being anything other than a joke.

It appears you thought I was being serious?

I don’t know about you, but every time I drive through NH after flying to Boston and heading up to Maine to see family I unbelt myself as soon as I hit the NH border.

That’s awesome that you travel so much with her. Our dog just had a health scare at age 4 and this summer we made an active decision to take her more places with us. Thankfully seems like he will be just fine, but I’m glad we started getting out with him more - probably something we won’t reverse course on again, and

That’s awesome! Question - where does a dog that big fit in the Volt with wife and 2 kids taking up the passenger seats? Do you have everything on the roof, so dog gets the hatch?

Sorry, no. I don’t take advice from racist pieces of shit. “Wuhan flu”, such a professional.

Agreed with your concern around people citing lease deals. I always look at price out the door, and any down payment is a bad deal to me since that is money lost (literally, if you wreck the car driving home from the dealership that is all down the drain).

Ah yes, Tony Heller of YouTube. The most esteemed and peer reviewed scientist of his generation!

I’d also suggest that the fact that 70% of those killed were unbelted means that no amount of engineering would of saved those lives given that the victims ignored the most important part of the system.

Sure, if you’re going the buying route most BEVs are a bad idea given the rapid clip they’re evolving/depreciating at. Give or take $200 a month is a stellar deal in the meantime until the playing field settles a bit though, for any commuter car, let alone a BEV with its significantly lower running costs.

Meaning Jeep to Crosstrek? The Jeep was taller and you sat higher, and feel like you could see more out the vehicle. The crosstrek on the inside is obviously the same as a regular Impreza hatch, so much more cooped up. Even the rear view mirror is huge and right in your face and blocks a decent portion of the

IMO the ideal use for a BEV is a commuter car for suburbanites who have an ICE vehicle already. Most people will need this to be a cheap car with a reliable 60 miles of range on a 20F day 4 years into ownership. I fit perfectly into this category but the cars don’t.

Since you asked, I’ll take #2 please.

Fair enough argument. So in California, Uber can just treat them as employees and deal with it, right?! Or just stop doing business there. Same argument.

The drivers don’t set their rates. The drivers can’t market themselves as Bob’s Driver Service - they are specifically representing Uber. The drivers don’t select which customers they are getting paired up with, or where their destinations are (reject a few and you get booted off the platform). Come on, at least

For every one of you that may be legitimately compassionate and asking because you care, there are also people who “don’t want to get in to politics” or “get bummed out” during a ride. And these people reflect this in their driver reviews.

Also, I’m not sure being an Uber or Lyft driver was originally meant to be a full time career option with benefits. I always saw it was something you can do on the side to make a few bucks when you have extra time, or part-time students, etc. It’s always been advertised that way.

Perhaps being the type of person who is capable of simply “forgetting” that they’re carrying a loaded weapon should be a disqualifier for owning such a weapon?

From your handle - are you based in the Boston area? Wow that’s crazy. We have family out there, some of whom are “conservatives” but even they have distanced themselves from praising the current administration. If it is in the Boston area it’s crazy to think that there are that many levels of being cool with what
