Mitch McConnell looks so smug here... and Trump just has those eyes that say “What have I done??”

Yeah, just being sarcastic (it’s all I’ve got at this point). Hillary won the popular vote, lost the electoral. Electoral electors decided to go along with the popular vote in their states.

    Happy? :P

    Sometimes things just defy logic...

I’m in a similar boat. I’ve got a really long time friend who I’ve contemplated sending things I’ll regret saying to him. Just trying to forgive him and have grace this week...

Yeah, #2 is especially important. It used to be that way too!

One question, how much of this guy’s $2.8 billion net worth is actually liquid enough to donate? Not saying he still wouldn’t have Scrooge McDuck levels of cash to make someone’s day with, but let’s figure out what that actual number is. Net worth =/= money you can donate to charity. #notsnarkactuallyaskingaquestion

Excellent! Just wanted to help out. TL;DR. Carry on, good sir or madam.

True, but is saying we chose our own fate a good thing if that fate is terrible? Not saying a Clinton Presidency is going to be the second coming of Theodore Roosevelt or anything, but I’m pretty sure she won’t start WWIII because she got angry about something Kim Jong Un said and tweeted at him at 3 A.M.

I absolutely agree with you on the Hillary point. She’s a different kind of evil. Like lawful evil. I’m not happy about her becoming President, but I’m 99% sure she won’t tweet anything that would prompt North Korea to nuke us. So that’s the only reason I’m voting for her.

Believe me, I’m no friend of HRC either just to clarify. The Electoral College isn’t a perfect system, but it generally works. Now if we could do something to reform how people vote in general (ranked choice voting, for example) then I’m all for the popular vote being the deciding factor. Only being able to choose the

Came here to see this. Was not disappointed.

But that’s the thing, this system was put in place to protect against the popular vote voting in a crazy person into the Presidency (see Donald Trump). It may not be fair, but that’s life.

I know right? Where’s the “do you believe in miracles? Yes!!” commentary? Hockey>>baseball

We do have those, they’re just terrible. :P

    12,000 Liter-a-Colas!

    ^THIS. So much this...

    ^THIS. So much this...

Yeah, fortunately a lot our friends and family were already clamoring for the stuff. :P

My family used to run a dairy farm in western Illinois, and one of my favorite parts of visiting grandma was drinking fresh Jersey milk in a frosted glass straight from the freezer. Now that was some tasty stuff... More milk fat than Holstein cows, so it tasted like a milkshake!
