I loved BIOSHOCK so much. The tone, the atmosphere, the gameplay. Somehow, the game felt like a really elaborate dark ride at a theme park — the story revealing itself in tableaus as you pressed onward through this dark setting.

I know they’re officially done with exploring the BB-verse for now... but 10, 15 years down the line, I can imagine Gilligan coming up with an idea for revisiting Pinkman later in life. I’m not opposed to a good, thoughtful legacy sequel.

It’s totally reductive. Bodies Bodies Bodies is one of the best movies I’ve seen in theaters in a while. Funny and smart and insightful and the “cleavage” was probably the least notable aspects of it for me.

I discovered DAYS GONE a little later, via Playstation Plus.

Ezra Miller hasn’t really broke their silence — their reps have released a statement to the press on their behalf. Some day, there will be a limited docudrama series about the behind-the-scenes manhunt it took to get to the release of this statement. (Incidentally, I’d love a docu-drama series about the real stories

I adore this show.

Hulu’s Hellraiser reboot from The Ritual director David Bruckner has been rated “R” for “strong bloody horror violence and gore, language throughout, some sexual content, and brief graphic nudity.”

Unrelated to anything here, I thought the Netflix adaptation of The Sandman was sensational. I thought it would be all over this site but I guess not.

As a child of the 80s, I love the old arcade cabinet art (and videogame box art) -- they were so different because the actual graphics of the games were these pixellated abstractions.

I enjoyed this movie more than I expected to.

It’s funny, I just read a scary piece about how napping is BAD:

I’ve great affection for Umbrella Academy but the plotting and character issues -- of that last season in particular -- are numerous.

The original Max Headroom was fake CGI — Frewer in prosthetics and makeup. Now, they can obviously make him using actual CGI and make him look like young Frewer. Uncanny Valley just adds to the aesthetic. I’m really curious what they’re gonna do with the visuals. I think they could do something really interesting.

He’s behind you!

I imagine that eventually the entire series will be remade, hopefully after some version of the book series is completed. Just as I imagine they’ll eventually remake the entire Star Wars Skywalker Saga.

Came here to post this and glad someone else did it already. What a brilliant little scene, in a movie that not many people talk about.

In Mighty Thor #706 by Jason Aaron and Russell Dauterman, Jane is in Valhalla alongside Odin, but she realizes that there’s still more to do, she doesn’t want to die. So, before she can walk through the gates of Valhalla, Odin brings her back to life. She goes on to return as the Mighty Thor and even become a

I saw “The Cloverfield Paradox” connection and immediately had lower expectations for this movie... but didn’t realize the same director made “LUCE”, which is actually a really fascinating movie, IMHO.

I think you also have to assess whether the “insult” was actually an insult.

Maybe it’s a bottle episode! Indy goes to the DMV to renew his license, reminisces about past adventures.
