Same here, looking for my morning fix. Not seeing any updates.
I really enjoyed Swiss Army Man. And I think this new movie looks amazing, and I’m particularly keen on seeing Ke Huy Quan again.
For all the endless cracks about how the world’s forgotten about AVATAR, the first teaser/trailer for AVATAR 2 has got to look incredible. They put out a sufficiently cool-looking trailer, people are gonna show up.
I know it’s the most problematic entry in the franchise (so far) but Temple of Doom was the Indiana Jones movie that really broke through for me as an Asian kid in the 80s, and it was all because of Short Round. Adored that movie, adored his performance and still do.
I’m all for a more stripped-down costume but the thing I’ve liked most about the Holland/MCU Spidey suit are the EYES that can narrow. It allows for an extra level of expression.
Fred Hechinger. I wanted to type his name out just to get more familiar with it. I thought he was a standout in both “Fear Street” and “White Lotus”. Kid’s got the goods.
I find cameos like this really interesting. It’s like No Way Home: Alfred Molina is not the biggest movie star, but Alfred Molina appearing as “Doc Ock” is suddenly a huge deal. Similarly, Miller and Momoa aren’t the biggest actors on their own, but in their DCU costumes they’re in a new weight class.
Peacemaker Season 2: new opening musical sequence, right? They definitely can’t use the same one because of all the characters who are no longer alive/relevant. They could use the same song or they could find a new track for the new season.
Slowly but surely, the actors of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia have been trying to branch out from the vulgar FX series.
Some ALIEN xenomorph Photoshop Battles I’ve done...
Troy Baker. Started looking into him because of his portrayal of Joel in THE LAST OF US saga.
He was going to be in the original version of that project:
Cruise is sailing into his 60s now. Liam Neeson proves you can star in action movies until you’re pushing daisies, and I don’t expect TC will let up on the action anytime soon, but I’d love to see him return to working with folks like PTA and Scorsese and younger gens who are doing interesting work. Get him in a…
I like how nobody’s anxious to see this guy get into the mix.
I thought he LOOKED a lot better than he did in Mando, in most of the shots at least. It felt exciting to me in a way that the Mando cameo didn’t, because he looked stiffer in Mando. It felt like I was watching a new Young Luke sequence.
This is actually how I interpreted it. He’s teaching Grogu, who’s basically an ESL kid.
But can it make someone old sound like THEY did when they were younger?
