I’d agree.  I think it’s messy plotting that did disservice to most of the characters.

I know it was the diamond.  But as a little kid, it just seemed like a bait and switch.

I was always disappointed that they’d start with this fun cartoon and then “the Pink Panther” just was non-existent in the story after the credits finished.  Why even call it The Pink Panther??

Both those movies are way better than they ought to be.  Not scary at all but delightful time-loop romps.

I was such a fan of Sledge Hammer! and was so disappointed with the explanation at the top of the next season.

Definitely prefer a shorter series with an endgame. The Shield and Breaking Bad are good examples of shows that didn’t overstay and ended strongly.

That Atari 2600 joystick was a torture device!  My hands still ache thinking about all the time I spent playing games with that thing.  I think about it sometimes, when I’ve spent hours playing a game on a modern console and somehow my hands don’t feel incredibly sore.
