I remember renting his first feature, “Public Access”, way back in the day. What an inauspicious beginning. Awful and forgotten by time.

Yes, it means Video On Demand.  So whatever your service is (Cable, Satellite...) should have some pay-per-view options.

Thank you. This is a case where the IP made the biggest difference. But the Hollywood execs, in all their wisdom, chose to believe it was this director who made a comic book movie good.  Failed this mediocre talent upward.

Supposedly — Cusack was considered for the role of Walter White in “Breaking Bad” (as well as Matthew Broderick).  I think he’s a name that just gets thrown out there for things.

This is a big pet peeve of mine, too, since there are so many services for content these days.

Brilliant.

The reverse. 50 Shades of Gray” was actually Twilight fan-fiction that was originally self-published on websites.

Movie deals being made off of reddit posts are a really stinging reminder of how much I could be doing to get my career off the ground...

Universal’s Frankenstein had that iconic flat-top head that informed so many iterations of Frankenstein’s monster afterwards.  Curious if GDT had that in mind visually -- because all the modern takes on the story don’t use that unless it’s a parody.

And giving each story its own episode without commercial breaks just lets these narrative breathe better, that elevates it

Firefighters: Did some lady just scream “Let it burn”? Okay boys, let’s turn it around and go back to the station...

I’m a big fan of the Disney Parks — I was fortunate enough to get a trip in at the very beginning of the year — and I am looking forward to going back again.

Looks like this is part of their commute to work.

I have been looking forward to seeing Saint Maud.  I hope it gets a new release date soon.
