Nice shout-out to “The Lurking Horror”. An Infocom text adventure from back in the day that I was fond of. I miss those old games and kind of wish someone would resurrect them in interesting ways.

Here’s a shitty Photoshop I made (at work) of this funny line.
Thank you for the warning! Gloomhaven looks intriguing but I’m not at that level. I’ve given up on videogames that are a little too complicated.
Just joined! Thank you!
Right after I posted, I googled “1-player boardgames” and stumbled upon GLOOMHAVEN which looks intense!
Seriously, you have to stay quiet. And if it’s cold or raining or snowing or dusty or misty or foggy, you’re visible -- which totally negates the entirety of your power.
I wish there were 1-player board games.
McDonald’s hashbrowns are my favorite indulgence. I look forward to trying this.
He-Hulk Said, She-Hulk Said.
I feel like most (all?) “Invisible Person” movies/stories before this one required the invisible character to be completely naked in order to be completely invisible... which seems like an enormously vulnerable state to be in. Especially if there’s any threat of the invisibility serum wearing off before you’re ready.
The fourth will be SUICIDE SQUAD SERIES ONE X
I’ve liked seeing the appraisal of this trilogy change over a longer course of time. I recall some negative reception of Part II when it came out and larger disinterest when Part III was released.
I kind of liked it. I like the idea of them actually trying to launch a franchise from this, given how it ends.
I took a date who said she didn’t like scary movies. It’s not super-intense. It’s more of a thriller than horror. An ex-boyfriend stalking.
Yeah, the way they list
I’m with the ToD defenders. It was my favorite Indiana Jones movie as a child. (It does cater much better to children, IMO — Short Round gives the kids someone who’s easier to relate to than hard-drinking adults.)
That movie was just pure joy to me as a child.
Gotta piggyback on the Temple of Doom defenders.
I’d agree that he got the best ending for the circumstances he backed himself into. But I just feel like he was so fatally flawed, there was no path to a “happy ending” for him. It’s been a while since I’ve watched it but there’s some part in the middle of the series (I think) where he manages to extricate himself…
The internet mob is clearly on the side of the hard-G (see how angrily they post!), but I’m with the inventor. Soft-G.
