YES, I was thinking that would be a great way to tie them back in!  It’s a great opportunity because it happens at some point in the their future and they can just use it to frame their ending.

THANK GOODNESS!!!

I loved the MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE action figures as a child specifically because they did unique things. It wasn’t just little plastic figures.

I really hope they keep the original website and design and just update it with new content.  Stamp-sized trailer.  Message board.

Whether it’s A VERY TARANTINO STAR TREK or FOUR ROOMS CHAPTER 2 or whatever, I want to see what happens 5-10 years after his “10th” movie. When he’s absolutely stir crazy.

I always imagined them as somewhat heavy. Like the weight of this white-hot saber that can slice through metal doors.  Like swords made of hot lava.

I agree. Hopper was a mess.

Scorpion is a great point -- they obviously set him up but didn’t get there yet.  There’s such a robust rogue’s gallery for Spider-Man, I hope they keep going for a while.  I don’t need Spider-Man rebooted again for a long while.

They did that in 1992.

This is a tangent but it’s weird that Tony Stark has essentially replaced “Uncle Ben” in terms of significance to Peter Parker in the MCU.  It’s fine that they lightly skipped over his origin story — but we’ve spent a fair amount of time with young Peter at this point and he’s talked a lot more about Tony than he has

TOTALLY.  Tony had a DEATH SATELLITE. Why didn’t you use your Satellite of Death, Tony??

I feel like Strange would’ve realized he’s a con.  And TONY would’ve recognized the tech -- and maybe the former staff.  A character like DAREDEVIL would have been interesting because all the illusions are based on sight, so he could have seen through it all.  Nick Fury would have been more skeptical.  I feel like

I love that it’s a fishbowl and looks weird just like the original art!

Totally agreed. When I first saw him in the trailer, I thought they might have him connected to Dr. Strange because they’ve both got flamboyant capes and use similar-looking hand-gesture-magicks...

I loved Favreau’s take on JUNGLE BOOK wayyy more than I ever expected I would.

Yeah, there is a LOT of stuff that goes nowhere with this show.  I was noticing it more this season.  I like the premise and seeing where it goes, but the writing is really mediocre.  Character arcs are all over the place, characters are under-served, most things don’t have any real pay-off.  It’s a little maddening.

There was a time when Burger King had food that was (a little) better than McDonald’s. I don’t know what happened to them.

I think if you order diner lobster, it summons Cthulhu...

Thank you! I was initially put off by it — too much nostalgia can be oppressive at some point — but the fact that they really commit to it and STOP the show and have this succession of character reaction shots... for me, it transformed the moment. It went from just another cheesy “REMEMBER THIS???” pop culture

I also just learned that Robin (played by Maya Hawke) is the kid of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke!
