Agreed! I remember being very impressed with Will last season. He’s MIA most of the original season so it was surprising to see how strong Noah Schnapp was in a very tricky role in Season 2.  This season... he’s a third wheel.  Possibly gay.  But then just sort of baggage with the rest of them, along for the ride.

As an Atari 2600 kid, I’ve always wanted a game that looked as cartoony as CUPHEAD. That said, I’m not a big fan of the actual game. It’s just too hard out of the gate, it doesn’t take time to build the world up, it’s just a bunch of different stages and bosses with no real context.

I loved the ending to the first Iron Man — I grew up with secret identities being a big part of superheroes. It’s tied to that whole fantasy/wish-fulfillment thing. The idea that ANY average-looking schmo could secretly be a super-powered hero. That “I am Iron Man” press conference moment just explodes that trope.

I love the idea of the show and the premises of each season... but they’re all so poorly written, I just can’t.  Horror is hard to do well, and this is bad horror.  Horror that looks slick on the surface but is poorly conceived and executed.

Yes, this is all concept art and there’s some test animation:

Yeah, it totally sounds like an averted train wreck, but I’m still curious what he had planned for it. CGI Blue Meanies...

Before I saw the movie, I was talking to a friend about how iconic the Thanos-snap-ashes thing had become, and how we didn’t actually get to see what the reverse looked like in ENDGAME. So it was nice that they included that at the top of FFH, along with the idea of “The Blip”. I actually think you could build a whole

Oh boy — that’s ONE way they could still do it, I guess. Zemeckis could go back to his creepy mo-cap movies. I’m still morbidly curious about what his YELLOW SUBMARINE movie would have looked like.

Yep!  Every so often, there’s some noise about a Part 4 or a reboot, and people get up in arms online, but it’s all just this wild speculation because Gale/Zemeckis locked it down.

I think that’s for the best.  I know that Zemeckis is at a point where he could use a hit and going back to BTTF would be a big deal, but I don’t think it’d work.  Maybe if MJF were in better health, but that series is all about him.

They’re so competitive!  I really loved using the free shuttle buses from the Disney resorts to the different parks, though on my last trip I started taking Lyfts for the added convenience.  You don’t have to wait to get on a packed bus and they’re relatively inexpensive trips because everything’s so close, including

During a panel at Niagra Falls Comic Con, Christopher Lloyd stated he’d be “happy” to reprise his role...

Agreed. And the kid’s so invincible, there’s no real tension. Until the bit at the end with the mom, you’re really just watching a succession of inevitable kills.  The kid’s an immediate, disobedient asshole.  There’s no interesting complication.

I love coming back to the hotel after a long day at the parks, taking a shower and then watching these cartoons until they begin to repeat.

I have embraced being a Disney World freak the past few years and stay at the resorts and there’s a channel that just plays all these new Mickey Mouse shorts. I really like them. They shamelessly borrow a Kricfalusi aesthetic (who’s very problematic, but he has no ties that I know of to these shorts), but they’re fun

Okay, I’m (relatively) late to watching this, so who knows if anyone’s here anymore but I need to put my thoughts into a bottle and toss it into the digital universe...

I went through a divorce and went through two moves, to increasingly smaller spaces. When you’ve got to move and money’s really tight, you learn to let go of things in a hurry.  Box up your attachment to anything that’s not completely necessary.  The house is on fire, take only what you absolutely need...

Definitely Melissa McCarthy, with Kate McKinnon definitely on the list. Maybe Tiffany Haddish.
