I loved that part of the game premise as a kid. That was the part that annoyed me the most when the trailers for this movie came out.

YES. Those Angelina Jolie movies set a really low bar. If this is a solid action movie, it’s got to be the best TOMB RAIDER movie.

The friends I know who have read the book have LOVED it, but I really thought it was a mess. And definitely in need of a lot of fixing in order to make it work as a movie.

Kristen Wiig is a really strong actor. I think she’s capable of a lot more than we’ve seen from her.

I was really disappointed with what they did with “Max” in season 2.

This is interesting. She’s a really talented actor and I’d love to see her in an action role that would really change the way people see her. Maybe pull a Linda Hamilton with a trainer.

Spencer’s was the church of pre-adolescent boys.

When I was a child, a veritable lifetime ago, I was obsessed with owning this PAC-MAN phone. Which I got from “Crazy Eddie”.

Kathleen Kennedy owns this, too. She was key in convincing JJ to come on board in the first place because he turned it down initially. And he’s got experience with telling long-form narratives with his television showrunner experience.

I would looove to see a really good version of THE STAND.

I’d say he bears some responsibility, since he created a lot of these narrative points. And Rian met with him, expecting some answers/info for the mysteries, and supposedly there were no answers to give.

It’s too true: TLJ does seem like the end of the trilogy, complete with a little epilogue scene featuring hope for the future (stable boy). I didn’t hate the whole thing but... it’s so frustrating how it essentially took all the story threads and blew them up.

We have a script, which is a big deal for me. It starts shooting end of July … Sometimes having the script in advance is something I haven’t always been lucky enough to have … But I’m writing this with Chris Terrio, who’s a genius, and I’m having a great time.
