How much have theatrical release windows shortened over time?

As the show’s gotten so dark, it’s a little weird having it be on a kid-tv station — after a really heavy scene, we cut to bunch of hyper, neon toy commercials!

What slays me is the video where Spielberg says the author is a visionary.

The only reason all of these properties are so valuable today is because of the careful management of all those properties. Sony would have totally driven the Marvel Cinematic Universe straight into a brick wall.

He could handle LOGAN but not Deadpool? I’d think Deadpool would be more kid-friendly.

That kid’s reaction is just so PURE. As adults, the way we react to movies is informed by a lifetime of watching movies. (As well as personal experience, education, etc.)

YES. He’s a director that’s gotten WORSE over time, IMO. People point to “PAIN & GAIN” as an example of him being able to do comedy, but it is TERRIBLE.
