I’d love to see Vince Gilligan and company have their own Star Wars series. (Maybe they could link up on their old pal Rian Johnson’s series, give him a little assist in the writing department.)

Bryce Dallas Howard’s former Jurassic World ops manager Claire has started a nonprofit called The Dinosaur Protection Group, “dedicated to establishing and protecting the rights of all living dinosaurs.”

The final shot is gonna make a great GIF, though it’s obviously a super spoiler. The whole thing kind of reminded me of THE MIST and how that’s all about creatures from other dimensions happening into our world.

Definitely. There are so many fun things there. I hope it’ll grow in popularity over a longer period of time.

My favorite scene in the movie. Ralph Fiennes is stellar.

I stayed up to watch this! It was cool to watch a movie of this scale without even watching the trailer they released. Completely fresh.

There was a THIS AMERICAN LIFE episode that had a segment about Call Centers in Mexico staffed with people who’d been deported from the U.S., where Mexicans with good American accents are prized.

When I saw it as a kid, I wasn’t familiar with Sherlock Holmes so I didn’t immediately understand the significance of that name. It’s funny, though, how that tag sets up the template for a lot of the Marvel tags. A hint at some big thing that will be dealt with another movie. People not familiar with the comic books…

I was thinking it was an Event Horizon thing, too, for a while.

It was cool to watch the movie without even watching the trailer beforehand.

I loved Young Sherlock Holmes as a kid and remember that post-credits scene, too.

That Ferris Bueller bit was pure magic to me as a kid. The movie was basically breaking the 4th wall throughout but that last gag was so good.

I’m going to a Super Bowl watch party but I’ve found they’re the worst places to really watch the commercials/trailers. I’ll probably have to wait to watch them all online over the following days.
