It’s a real shame, bc suicide squad could be the foundation for a very inspired xcom-like.

Big enough to get a feature starring him released last year. That said, it flopped pretty hard.

He acts too!? Is there anything this guy can’t do?

I think she may be in for a rude awakening if she tries to redeem him. I think she feels a lot of guilt about adding Gator, but she called it herself when she said he wants to do good but he wants to be like his daddy even more.

I’m guessing the parallel of Dot abandoning Gator in the way she was abandoned will definitely be important moving forward. There's definitely some guilt there.

Keep the protein. Use chocolate covered crickets.

It would be a generation’s answer to Who Framed Roger Rabbit, god help us all

That one. I’m not terribly convinced that TV/film popularity has a noticable effect on video game sales (a big shrug thinking, for instance, that spider movies drove insomnia’s sales) - but if they are going for multimedia synergy, I’d definitely think that the MCU offers dramatically more cross-promotion potential

I’m not convinced that’s going to make much off an uptick in interest. But Insomniac’s intended release schedule could dovetail nicely with the MCU.

Pretty much!

The third one was notoriously contentious behind the scenes because Eddie wanted to steer the movie in a more dramatic direction to demonstrate his range as more than just a funny guy.

I daresay roflcopter

I would not at all be shocked to have an evil multiversal Stark as the villain in an upcoming movie - at least, if Downey would agree to it.

To expand, I think there are two pillars to the franchise: the cast, and the genre satire. The latter offers diminishing returns based on the volume and frequency of releases, so they’ve smartly leaned more into character as the series has gone on. And I think that’s demonstrated by how much of the past two movies

“Michael Bay's Amistad"

I’m not so sure about that. I think that theory generally holds for horror movies, but Scream is a little different imo. In the same way that people come back to F13 and Nightmare for Jason and Freddy respectively, I think a big part of the franchise appeal for fans is Dewey/Sydney/Gail. And that’s become even more

Maybe they're setting Monica in DP to transition her to her nextwave self.

Cap'n'em's Marvels

Call it Captain Marvels. Done.

You know what (relatively) recently implemented cheat codes well? Doom Eternal. It's definitely a sensibility I miss from the early 2000s.
