I don’t know why it would be. Waititi is a talented director with a distinct sense of humor and style, and Hemsworth is an actor with exceptional comic timing. Waititi created a confident vision for Thor and his world that means he doesn’t have to sell the premise to fans or the studio, and he’s left Thor and his

Because the gods smile upon us.

ngl, I like Gunn’s Guardians, but I’m way more excited to see a Thor sequel. And that’s something I never thought I’d say.

Because providing adequate funding to the IRS, despite it being one of the most critical federal agencies, isn’t good PR for Republicans OR Democrats. Which means that we’ve had years of funding gradually stripped away until we’ve reached the point where the IRS doesn’t even have the resources to adequately pursue tax

She’s not playing James Bond. She’s playing the person who temporarily took over the 007 identity. And the last Bond was publicly pilloried.

What about this is so hard for you to grasp?

It stinks of desperation - not the move to have Lashana Lynch take the 007 moniker (which I actually really like) but the public reveal. Production on the latest James Bond has been a notorious shit show, so I’m guessing someone in the chain of command thought a desperate move was needed.

Mike and Lucas are at the bottom of your list? They're in my top tier!

Nah. My assumption is that a traumatic event causes El to get het memories back, and her first response is to look for Hopper. Have the thrust of the season be the kids being proactive rather than reactive and El having to lean on the rest of the team because her powers are diminished.

But the monster attack wasn't public knowledge, was it?

So can someone chime in on whether this run was good or not? Particularly someone who likes Aaron’s stuff? I love when he goes gonzo, and I’m thinking it might be a good excuse to dip my toes into mainstream superhero comics again.

This guy clearly gets it, everybody.

I wish I’d taken advantage of them while they were there. I was cool with the leveling system when I was running through the main quests, because it was used for gating regions and content. But once you hit that level 50 cap to just find you have 50 more levels to go, I was done with it. :/ All I want is to get those

You can leave now. Take your star, stuff it in a bag, and just go.

I don’t know. You sound pretty offended to me.

I love that you have to dig so deep to find something to be offended by that “man American Pie had some regressive gender politics” is the thing you feel the need to protest.

It’s a shitty gag in a shitty movie during a time in shitty movies when horny boys doing shitty things was treated as irreverent fun.

See, I’m not worried about the nostalgia, at least for me personally. Evans and Downey were great, but I’ve had my fill, and I’m looking forward to some films that do their own things without having to worry about being wound around each others’ continuity.

Nah. I’m queer, and I’m pretty comfortable that carving out consent exceptions for the queer community isn’t just unhealthy. It’s insulting. Are queer youth, by virtue of the way society treats them, more inclined to seek out older partners? Based off my experiences with friends, yes. Based off my personal

I think some writers would argue that the Joker ISN’T funny. He’s the only guy out there sincerely laughing at his jokes.

And that’s the thing. If you’re great at whipping up your base, you don’t need to be at the top of the ticket. You just need to be out there whipping up votes. Bernie may not turn out to be a viable presidential candidate, but if he throws himself behind Warren (or another candidate), his army will follow.

The debates built a pretty strong narrative for me, though I’ll admit that a single debate isn’t going to be the ultimate determinant for the attitudes looking forward. Bernie looked tired and unable to engage except in his narrow range of expertise. His approach to economic equality should be respected, and he should

They’ll pop in there on their own.

In my opinion, the story isn’t going to really pick up. It lurches forward herky-jerky until you hit a conclusion that’s like Huh? That’s the end? But the moments to get there are fun. That said, there’s a lot to love here, but it’s mostly hidden in the smaller stories you stumble
