I mean, in the context of the standup community, Hannah Gadsby is big. And that’s kind of the important context here.

Saying “Hannah who?” is inherently dismissive when you have all of Google at your fingertips, and it’s wrongheaded. Because it doesn’t matter how many views or ticket sales she got. What matters is her

Edit: Clearly I have terrible reading comprehension issues.

Well, I was just speaking casually off what I’d heard about the platform, seeing as I haven’t had the chance to do more than glance at the interface. But I will read the fucking manual, as I always do when related to something like this.

But, uh, thanks for the correction AND the unnecessary dickishness I suppose...

So this sounds like utterly exploitative trash huh?

Episode One on current gen with the intention to remaster it for next gen, Episode Two cross-gen, and then transition to the new generation from there on. With an engine, mechanics, and assets in place, they could hypothetically flip new content at a decent pace.

Would Dewey Cox be the Deadpool of the MBCU?

I suppose this is the kind of thing where a streaming service like Stadia could be really useful. Once the platform’s matured a little, I could hypothetically see the ability to launch your mission (preferably in some sort of control environment with maybe just the portion of the map applicable to your mission) right

I mean, it’s a new (albeit familiar) toolkit. I suspect it’s going to take a while for anyone to make anything with any real depth in it. It sounds like the big problem here is that testing is a bear. You have to do the coding in your browser and then boot up in your actual game, right? That sounds tedious as hell,

Incidentally, is there ANY way I can make it out of the grays? I’ve been here yeeeears.

I LOVE this in theory, even if it feels more like proof of concept than anything. My (hopeful) assumption is that they dropped this out here so that the people working on the next Assassin’s Creed can be taking notes and incorporating something more robust into the next iteration. From a lore perspective, I think

Yeah. That stuck out like a sore thumb to me too.

On the other hand, I’m not really expecting a AAA Avengers game to actually be funny, at least not this one. Maybe for the best they aren’t trying to force humor in there.

Are we doing some comic book purity test thing here? I mean, I get it. This isn’t the initial lineup from the books, but it’s the one a majority of fans are familiar with.

I mean, I think sticking to the core Avengers is a good way to start? There’s a decent diversity of power sets, and keeping to a basic five characters allows them to get the core systems solidly in place before diluting their development process with additional characters.

They already announced that there will be more

Sounds more like Sophie Turner was.... an awkward teenager.

He got a second wind of internet fame because of his reputation as just being a really nice dude.

And then he turned around and starred in John Wick which proved to be one of the best action movies (and eventually franchises) in years.

It’s stunt casting, but it’s also genius stunt casting.

The original Cyberpunk 2020 was the perfect distillation of 90s nerdbro cool in the same way that Keanu was typed as.

And now we have Cyberpunk 2077 which is pushing forward the clock and Keanu who has made a name for himself as this respected, workmanlike action

If anyone’s going to blink on that front, it’ll be VtM. As much as I dig the franchise, and as much as it was a cult classic, let’s be honest... They don’t have the clout Projekt Red do.

It could be a mix of reaction shots from multiple takes.

And hey, that star power is no joke for some people. Even if you expect the celebrity to be there, it can still be exciting and nerve-wracking.

I’m more wait and see. I dug the music and sound in general.

The combat could go either way. A Game Informer article goes into a little more detail on it, and it sounds like they crib a lot from Dark Souls. I’m a Souls fan, but I’m not sure how I feel about that.

Sounds like it’s the first victim of WB’s attempt to put together an all-inclusive streaming service, and should we be surprised? I mean, the idea of DC Universe was such a niche idea that I thought they were crazy when they first announced it. Why not, especially with Disney+ on the horizon, create a broader WB
