Sounds like nonsense to me, but it’s a similar argument that’s often made in these various “Movies aren’t as good as they used to be!” arguments. And I think it’s in large part due to the fact that when we compare movies of today against movies from years ago, we pick the movies we remember, which are typically the

I mean, it’s true to his original (at least English) characterization, but that doesn’t mean that it’s the only authentic approach.

He’s a tough dude, a seasoned veteran revolutionary who’s now leading the charge. There are a number of ways that could be conveyed.

Is the author indicting Democrats or indicting the situation they’re in?

Because it reads to me like the latter.

There’s so much to like here, but that also worries me.

Will it be fun in single player?
How do you even make a 16 person co-op mode work?

Fair enough. I respect the purity of the experience in a lot of respects. I envy the sort of people who can invest in Dwarf Fortress as is. And I wouldn’t choose to play Souls without the nail biting difficulty, but I’m not at all against offering more choice there.

Just out of curiosity (and this isn’t an attack on you, just your comment made me think of it). Is there a contingent of “hardcore” fans that lash out at the very idea of a more presentable UI or graphics packs in the same way that some Souls megafans have been lashing out at the notion of adjustable difficulty?

It’s interesting how different stimuli affect different people. I’m an exceedingly emotional person. I have a very low tolerance for being able to handle violence on TV or even the threat of implied violence. Seemingly small emotional triggers can have a dramatic effect on me. But the violence in even the latest

I mean, yeah. Check out that sweet letterman jacket.

This is the most wholesome thing I’ve read all week.

All I want is to deliver an ice cream cake to kid Lena and give her a big hug.

I think the weird thing is, it’s not really that revered today, at least not as far as I can tell. Most people seem to recall it as just that movie with the blue cat people or “Dances With Wolves With Smurfs, right?”

There seems to be a lot of social amnesia about the movie, and thus I’d be pretty reticent to call it

Well, Star Wars would only really be competing with Guardians of the Galaxy for the space opera sub-genre. Is there an audience for that? idk. But I think space knights and colorful aliens and roguish smugglers can sell well if you polish it up right. The Star Wars name just needs to be there to expand the recognition.

Oh look. A literal nazi.

Who the fuck ungrayed you?

I think there’s some leverage to make these characters not outright SAINTS.

But with Batman at least, the more interesting thing for me would be exploring the legacy of Bruce’s  parents in respect to what Bruce became? I mean, would his philanthropist parents really be pleased that he’s squandered their fortune and his

Tom King has put out some pretty impressive stuff.

Vision, Mr. Miracle, Omega Men, and Grayson were all rock solid, and I hear good things about Sheriff of Babylon. I can’t speak to his Batman or Justice League stuff, but maybe he’s just better working on the fringes?

And now it’s time for everyone’s favorite gameshow:

Not to mention all the militaries, intelligence agencies, and governments in the world have suddenly had their chain of command completely gutted. Every other world leader just... disappeared, and that’s not taking into consideration the fact that the civil infrastructure we depend on fell into complete disarray. I’d

oh boy.

I’d say cool would be not throwing a blind tantrum about something you don’t like on a site devoted to it.

I’d also say that meaningful responses should be reserved for comments deserving them.

On a more positive note, I’m of the understanding that the Ultimates has... not aged well. I actually could make some

You sound cool.

I think there are two options here. Either that isn’t Fury (Chameleon, or maybe a Skrull?), or he’s playing along with Mysterio’s story so he can figure out just what the dude is up to.
