You’re not understanding what I’m disagreeing with. I hate the rule, especially in HS where there’s no restricted zone. It encourages kids to actively not defend and just stand there. The idea that your best option is to just stand in the way and do nothing is stupid and unsporting.

He didn’t do his job, the guy scored and he looked like a doofus. That’s the downside of relying on the refs to bail you out, sometimes they don’t.

No, it’s standing there holding your nuts and hoping a ref bails you out, like I just said.

Barreling over a guy is already legal when he’s in the protected area. Put a damn protected area in HS ball.

No

Except he wasn’t actually trying to play defense. He was standing there holding his nuts hoping the ref would bail him out.

They probably weren’t even “pounding on the door”. Why should I believe the employees when they say that? The most innocuous of things get viewed as threatening when a large black man is doing it. Did they give them a “dehumanizing stare” too?

Am I a bad person for immediately thinking conspiracy theory? I mean, lots of people have to have thought that for at least a second, right?

Her history isn’t any more spotty than Bernie’s. Black people are choosing between two options that they don’t really like.

And then Erin’s career at ESPN would be over, which is what she was trying to avoid in the first place.

I literally fell down when he hit that shot. This dude is breaking the game of basketball.

Parity was not better in the 90s, Like a lot of people, you are being blinded by nostalgia.

lol

OKC is probably the best fit, but a fear of the Warriors and Spurs means he probably signs with Cleveland. Better chance of winning a ring if you don’t have to play both of those teams

Roland Beech I believe was the name of the Mavs stat guy. Works for the Kings now (lol).

What exactly is the NFL investigating?

The Thunder traded away a first round pick for Waiters. Can we finally admit that Sam Presti isn’t that great at his job? At the very least, he’s awful at trades, which is a pretty significant part of his job.

To add to your sliding-doors point, It could be argued that James Harden never leaves the Thunder if Chandler is in OKC.

The next year, Chandler got traded to the Mavericks and anchored their championship team. So as a Dallas fan, thanks OKC doctors!

The upcoming cap increases are so big that you might as well erase the phrase “not worth the max” from your lexicon. Everybody is about to get paid. In two years, the salary floor (the amount the NBA forces you to spend) is going to be higher than what the cap is now. Teams will literally HAVE to spend the money just
