I knew it was a rule. Whenever a punt goes over the punters head deep in their own territory they often bat it out of bounds for a safety and a flag is usually thrown. But the thing is, in that situation the flag doesn’t matter, because it’s a safety either way.

He’s playing around 15 of them, starting like 7 or 8 if you include the redshirt freshmen.

Not sure I’ve ever seen the wheels fall off a major program like this. It’s a shame, because I think Charlie Strong is a really good guy, you don’t see the same type of shenanigans from him that you see from someone like Art Briles at Baylor.

The roster is mostly filled with players recruited by Mack Brown.

They have some of the worst group of upperclassmen in the country, which is Mack’s fault. But Strong keeps trotting them out there, which is his fault.

This dude got fired in like 20 minutes. It was amazing.

Yeah, this type of stuff happens all the time, but usually coaches are smart enough to maintain plausible deniability.

Perhaps we are just never going to see eye to eye on this.

I don’t think I could work in a hospital. I admire the people who can.

The story going around the news organizations was that he asked what religion were you and if you said “Christian” he shot you in the head, and if you said something else or didn’t answer he shot you in the leg. If that’s true, then he absolutely targeted Christians.

I think that complaint is valid when the right wing is just making shit up (and they do that often), but if these people were really killed because they were Christian, I’d just leave it alone in this instance out of respect for the victims. Because my sympathy for the victims outweighs my dislike for whatever

I don’t think you’re a sympathizer, but I do think that it’s stupid that after 9 people were gunned down in cold blood (possibly because of their religion), your mind immediately wonders what Mike Huckabee thinks about it. Who gives a flying fuck about Mike Huckabee?

Who cares? That is way down the list on things to give a shit about after this incident.

NFL coaches love pretending like they’re geniuses, but the fact that Todd Haley has been allowed to call plays at football’s highest level for this long is pretty solid evidence that they aren’t.

Simmons has outlived his usefulness.

Lol, sorry I guess I read that wrong.

I never said it did, hence my use of the word “sadly”.

This is actually super common, especially among public schools that make you wear a uniform. Khaki pants and a polo shirt in school colors. Anything outside of that gets you in trouble.

Cal barely beat Texas, they aren’t that good.

Statistically, men get harsher sentences than women for the same crimes. The issue expressed in this article isn’t about initial judgement, it’s about stays being extended after the juvenile is already incarcerated.
