Okay, welp. 30+ years in the time frame of the NFL’s existence is a long time. Comparing it to populist democracy, which would be in the time frame of the existence of human civilization, is dumb.

Huh? I’m going to assume that you are just really young. The West Coast offense was revolutionary 30+ years ago, it isn’t now. My example was about when it was first introduced.
Yeah, but that’s always been true for every player at every position ever. Every player is used to playing only one or two other pro-caliber guys until they reach the pros. They’ve all adjusted in every other scenario.
That’s what coaches tell you now, because they haven’t figured it out, so it must be impossible. But just because someone has failed to do something yet, doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
Unlike many other sports, football changes from the bottom up. The real innovation starts at the lower levels. It’s not that quarterbacks are unprepared, it’s that NFL coaches are woefully conservative and resistant to change. High schools and colleges are now producing square pegs and the NFL is still trying to fit…
The scenario we’ve been discussing was what if you yourself were a black man, so I don’t see how that is relevant.
Kobe’s case at least went to criminal court though, the charges were dropped after the alleged victim refused to testify. It looks like Kane is going to avoid criminal court all together.
If you were a white man, you’d earn more, if you were a black man you’d probably earn less.
What the fuck are you talking about? Did you reply to the wrong person? I said they should investigate, the entire point of an investigation is to get rid of speculation.
Uhh, yes it does matter. If the coaches ordered it, they should be fired and face criminal sanctions too.
Apologies, but unfortunately there are plenty of people in this comment section who seriously feel the way you’re claiming to, so yeah, it’s hard to tell you were joking.
Are they investigating the coaches too? This seems like the type of thing that could’ve come on coaches’ orders.
This logic is way too simplistic.
“My kids don’t eat green things”= “My kids won’t eat their vegetables and I’m too shitty of a parent to do anything about it.”
Clemson has those big ass goalposts that are mechanical so they can lower them after games. It’s ironically there for safety purposes.
Yeah, the NFL is going to appeal. This shit is never going to end.
The only Iman I knew growing up was a girl, I thought of it as a girl’s name when I was a kid.
I’m from Texas, but I got lucky and had some really good history teachers who wanted to make sure kids understood the real impact of slavery. When I got to college (in Texas) though, it was pretty clear that a lot of kids didn’t get the same.
Right? It was explained so seriously.
Suggs barely hit Bradford, if that small of a hit to your QB strikes that much fear, then it’s going to be a long season for iggles fans.
