Yep, this critique is basically, “Dre sounds old”. Well, he is fucking old. And he’s not going to rap about the same shit he did 2o years ago because that would make no damn sense. Some hip-hop fans don’t allow artists to evolve, but it’s like the old Jay-Z line, “if you like my old shit so much, then go buy my old

Thank you for speaking some sense.

Yep.

Yea, I have a cousin who does the same. Candy, all the time. We can often tell when he’s not using based on his weight. He gets a little bigger whenever he’s clean for any significant period of time. It’s odd, every time he gets a little fatter my fam gets encouraged, means he’s trying to quit.

His addiction was already known, that’s not a hot take. There was a ton of chatter about his drug use, he was compulsively eating candy, so yes, some people put two and two together. It’s really not that serious, it’s a reasonable conclusion based on the context.

His drug use was already known, it was an obvious inference. But go ahead and continue to feign outrage if it pleases you to do so.

Odom’s problem is cocaine, not marrying a Kardashian.

You’re talking about stuff that happened at the time the music was released. I read the comment as about how we look at that music today.

Yeah, Dre and Cube were too involved (and needed to be for this movie to get made) so I don’t think Gray had much of a choice.

We should absolutely hold the Democratic candidates accountable for taking black votes for granted. Why wouldn’t we? They can’t control that Republicans are racist, but they can control what policies they themselves fight for.

In general elections, they just have to thinly veil their racism is all.

Protesting a member of the GOP is a complete waste of time, they gain votes by being more racist.

You live long enough and you begin to realize that white liberals and white conservatives aren’t as different from one another as they think they are.

Football is still my favorite sport, but the NBA is far and away my favorite league and it’s starting to actually affect my viewing habits.

Making women-only parking spaces that are a foot wider than normal does in fact seem sexist to me, but maybe I’m just dumb.

The Star-Tribune deserves to catch some shit too. Now all of a sudden they’re reporting on all of Teague’s settlements. You’d think someone at the paper would’ve looked into him after Rayno told them what happened to her.

Awesome photo

Kelly is an emotionless asshole. The racism stuff stems from the fact that he kept Riley Cooper, which he probably wouldn’t have done if he wasn’t an emotionless asshole.

I was surprised Cenac showed up, but I’m glad he did.

I never claimed Kelly couldn’t make moves, I’m simply explaining why some players have this perception of him, and that if he had just gotten rid of Cooper, this perception probably wouldn’t exist.
