Cousins and Horford (and honestly to some extent Jefferson) are really 4’s masquerading as 5’s. Cousins is going to straight up play the 4 this year. If you’re a big who can stretch the floor, then yeah, the dynamics change. Traditional big men get assisted on most of their field goals though and I don’t really see…
Eddie was the best
Thanks for looking those up. Assists don’t equal lobs though, the whole conversation started because someone said 80% of his points came from CP3 alley-hoops.
I hate to break it to you, but if you grew up in a house with 18 rooms, you were pretty rich.
I’m from Dallas, I didn’t even know anti-AC was a thing until I was like 19. Every building here has AC, if it didn’t we’d all be dead.
Chris Brown is #1 on the list, and I don’t know of any dudes that are ride or die for him. It’s all girls who likely have self-worth issues.
He’s never going to be Shaq (obviously) or even Marc Gasol offensively, the Mavs know that, Cuban was just buttering him up. But there’s no reason he can’t be Dwight Howard. Howard has almost no offensive post game but has always been the #1 or #2 guy on his team.
Exactly. I keep trying to tell people this. Before the Rondo trade, Dallas led the league in alley-hoops and they had the pupu-platter at PG. Lobs are about the finisher more than the passer. Dallas’ alley-hoops took a dive in the second half of the season because they traded away Brandan Wright in the Rondo deal.
This argument always kills me. Why are we giving all the credit to the guy tossing the lobs and none of it to the guy finishing them. Unless your name is Matthew Dellavedova, throwing an alley-hoop to a super tall freakishly athletic big is not exactly the hardest thing in the world.
You should post less.
Well, I guess I’ll go get something to eat or something, wasn’t expecting the game to be over 5 minutes
Greg Monroe choosing Milwaukee over Los Angeles and New York was my favorite moment of free agency. Big markets can’t coast anymore, they need to draft and develop better like everyone else.
Ask any Mavs fan, it’s not even close. There’s love for Chandler, fuck Rondo.
Yeah, I agree with that. I was directly comparing two NBA teams (Spurs and Heat) in response to the other person’s comment.
Yeah that’s great, but the question was who was the best organization, not who was among the best. The Spurs have missed the playoffs once in the last 25 years and have 5 championships. It’s not debatable.
Well, every team is an expansion team at one point.
The Heat? Stop
Kings gave away first round draft picks, Suns didn’t. It’s not that hard.
They were starting Jameer Nelson, with Devin Harris and JJ. Barea coming off the bench. Harris and Barea are still there. So it’s only Jameer Nelson missing and he is an average point guard at best. You can find a guy pretty cheap in free agency that can be your Jameer Nelson.
