Sorry for insulting the esteemed Mr. Quinn. Yes, the man who appeared in great hits as Sandy Wexler, That’s My Boy, and Grown Ups 2 deserves to be heralded as the comic genius that he so clearly is.

I agree with your point about Wendy enjoying the brokering of power. The second season did a good job of illustrating that, especially with her dealing with Wilkes.
If you think a single line from RotJ movie is enough justification for her to survive an explosion that jettisons her into space and then force pull herself to safety, then I would posit you have your bar set too low for storytelling.
Fun doesn’t always equal good. By the majority of accounts, Troll 2 and The Room are terrible movies, but they are fun to watch. Hell, worst movie of 2018 Gotti was a lot of fun, too, if you’re the type to enjoy bad movies.
I dislike Rise of Skywalker generally, but one of the few things I unambiguously liked about it was the flashback with Leia and Luke training together.
The ending of the second season pissed me off at the time. Spoiler warning if you haven’t seen the second season.
That’s a take I’d expect from Quinn. I’m glad actual funny comedians like Key and Peele are out there to push back on that mentality.
You may have a point about the space horses, but even if that’s the case, that is like the 197th on the list of stupid things about and/or in this movie.
Craig’s Foghorn Leghorn impression throughout the movie was my favorite part of it. I am both sad at the thought of it leaving, and interested to know what would be his next over-the-top accent be. Maybe Bahston?
I’ll miss Moira Rose and her unplaceable accent.
My partner got me into this show within the last year or so, and binging the series has been a blast. Admittedly, I wasn’t excited nor expecting much from the show I first gave it a shot. But, imho, it has proven itself to be consistently funny and easily watchable. Even the cringe-humor stuff they do is short-lived…
It’s neat that Weinstein has (slightly) younger clones of himself as his bodyguards.
I came here to say the same thing regarding “punching down” and “don’t do it.”
I think you’re right about audiences being starved for original content being the reason this is so praised. Because, yeah, the movie was fine. In retrospect I could have waited until a VoD release to see it, but it was fine. Craig and Evans were the highlights (the acting, like you said).
Yeah, if I have the chance to compliment one specific movie of Hanks’s, it is definitely going to be The ‘Burbs.
OK, I need some help in regards to this movie.
The main difference between Dexter and Joe, for me, is that Dexter make it a point to hunt down and kill people he knows are bad.
Peter Boyle never had to show up to set a day in the show’s career. All mo-cap done in the off season!
without his take on Iron Man I doubt it would have been so successful
Related aside: Sunshine was the movie that gave me hope that Evans would be a good Captain America. He played primarily cool guys / party dudes up to that point (Fantastic Four, Cellular, Not Another Teen Movie) that I was skeptical. Then I saw him in Sunshine as Mace and was surprised to see his depth.
