Off topic (sort of), but I’d love to see an article on Jalopnik of “best sports cars to carry lumber or other long objects in”

Not really surprising at all. People still want to feel they are in control most of the time and regard existing self-driving tech as simply ways to make the aspects of driving that do suck (heavy traffic, long boring highway voyages, parallel parking) suck less.

The looks are the least of the CR-Z’s problems

Do you really think Honda engineers are infallible?

Nah, a Fusion isn’t a loaded old person car. An old person with a Fusion is the kind who had a Crown Vic or a 500 and thinks the Taurus is too big.

Not that it’s not relevant, just that it’s getting fucking old when every Jalopnik story related to a UK automaker has to shoehorn in Brexit.

Right?

Not as tiring as knowing every story about Euro or UK car production on this site will carp about fucking Brexit

If you can’t fit what you need in the standard number of suit pockets (two front, two or three interior) then you’re carrying too much shit. Or, consider a briefcase.

Sounds like he knows what the mature course of action is in situations like these:

The 500 Abarth has a 0-60 of about 7 seconds vs. 9, is available with a manual, and would be $30,000 cheaper.

I like the way you think. I saw this list and my first reaction was “how did no one recommend a tank or armored vehicle”

Probably more a nod to W.O. Bentley

I had read that too. Only an absolute madman would drive a car with no roof at all, in Britain

Probably this (Apologies for the glare). That is what appears to be an Aston Martin DB AR1, a limited production version of the DB7 designed by Zagato of which only 99 were made.

(Possibly?) Unpopular opinion - a hatch is not a door. Two-door hatchback, rather than than three-door

What with killing the Lancer Evo and now doing this terrible thing to fans of late 90s/early 2000s import sport coupes, I am so looking forward to the day that Mitsu’s new corporate overlords at Nissan decides to put them out of their misery.
