I keep a can of hair stuff and a little comb in my desk. I wash and comb and let dry before I leave and when I get to work and change to my work pants I wet my hair, apply said hair stuff and comb. It’s not perfect but it’s good enough to make me presentable. Shorter hair also helps with that as it worn’t get as wavy

I have Bull-It jeans and they are way too warm to wear commuting unless it’s rather cool. I also have a pair of Revit Philly 2 jeans that are only lined in the impact zones and they have flexible meshy CE armor. I wear those on the commute and they look just like regular jeans and fit well and can be worn when you

Seriously looking at that for my next bike. Riding a Street Triple currently and would like something for longer rides and with my +1 in tow.

I had some good disappointment yesterday on the way to work. I was on my motorcycle so I’m always extra cautious. I take a little back road behind a shopping center to get to my office instead of the busy main road out front. It was just me and the lady in the lane next to me. There are 2 intersections that I cross

I always shake my head when I go in there. Who needs vanilla ice cream starter? I’m perfectly capable of measuring milk/cream/sugar and vanilla together then putting it in an ice cream maker. It defeats the purpose if my ice cream costs $15 a pint thanks to a starter.

Dude, similar experiences with my wife. Her dad restored a ‘67 Camaro for her when she was in high school. She daily drove it from the time she was 17 all the way through college and some in grad school until we moved away from her family. She hated going to gas stations or whatever because there was always some guy

I know one person that has one. Late 50's divorcee who lives on his own and is about 4 miles from work. He had a prius that he gave to his daughter and bought a Smart. He hated the car from the instant he bought it and I wonder if he even test drove it before buying. He settled for about 2 years with it before he had

I’m from Florida, lived in GA for 4 years and TN for over 10. None of my friends paraded around with a Confederate flag. Yeah, you see them in trucks and in front of peoples homes but normal considerate southern folk don’t really embrace that flag. Yes it’s our history and yes southerners are a proud people in general

In regards to your picture, I offroad my LR4. No I haven’t driven it through the ocean, not many of those in Denver. But I have taken a good few unmaintained high alpine passes, driven to some rather remote camping areas and spent some Saturdays out on the trails riding with Wranglers and the like. No it’s not as good

The lake in Georgetown gets a similar treatment once it freezes over. They even have some porsches out there fro ma local dealer sometimes. Also lowered Wranglers with studs tearing it up on the ice. Always looks like fun when I drive by on the way to go skiing.

Took my wife’s RWD supercharged Jaguar XF from her last night and let her drive the AWD. Had a good time on the way home on the side streets, not so much when I couldn’t get it in the garage because my driveway has like a 2% grade.

Got those on the STi, great tires for the price. Thinking of Nokians once these die but I’ll have at least 2 more winters on them.

Just going to leave this here to maybe make it more creepy.

I know some people in the Maserati club outside of Knoxille and most of them do all the work themselves. Many are engineers at Oak Ridge and like to tinker in their spare time. No reason this car isn’t from a similar background being in Huntsville.

I wasn’t thinking when I rode MARTA one time and all I had was a $20 to get like a $4 ticket. I had to walk around Atlanta and go to a Braves game with $16 of those coins in my pocket.

It was that way when my wife and I visited the British museum. Couldn’t hardly see many of the exhibits because they were crowded with people taking pictures of stuff. It’s like everyone forgot about being considerate to other people when you are out in public. View the exhibit or whatever and move on especially in

I love how there was obviously a tow truck waiting like a vulture at the event. Never has a tow truck arrived in under 2 hours any time I’ve needed one.

Lots of cars have seat belt sensors now. Maybe make it so it can’t be used unless a weight of 75lbs is in the passenger seat. Sure some people will drive with their free weights but most won’t.

Probably a good alternative to Audi for those of us in snow states. I would love to have a AWD M car but the budget won’t allow it and my STi is a good compromise for me.

Denver is 3+ free in the HOV with a switchable transponder. If you have 3+ in your car you basically switch the transponder attesting to the quantity. If you don’t and want to take the tolled HOV you switch the transponder the other way and you’ll pay the reduced toll. If you don’t have a transponder you’ll pay the
