I completely agree, if I could take light rail to work I would absolutely do it. However, it would take me 15mins to drive to the station and park. Then 30 minutes up to a station to switch to another train and come back down the other side for another 30 mins. I’ll then have to walk 1 mile or wait on the shuttle bus

I do feel bad that I have my ski rack on my Subaru right now and I haven’t been skiing yet. At least I took my skis out, that makes it better right? It’s also a STi so I think that makes up for the rack. Last year I saw an outback with a ski rack with 2 sets of skis in it, flanked by 2 bike racks loaded with bikes.

If you tried to rapidly sell $100mm of AAPL stock you would probably not sell it for $100mm. I wonder if the market would move for bitcoin with people trying to liquidate that much of it. Are there enough buyers in the bitcoin market to cover hundreds of millions of dollars worth of sales in a short time period?

Me too

100% completely agree. My wife and I are in our early 30s and are not planning to have kids. She got so much grief with her family and stuff that she had it out with them about not having kids. We love to have money and travel and be able to go out when we want and not have to pawn the kids off on someone. It’s not

Last time I was in NYC I was out walking about like 2am and the roads were completely empty. A guy in a new GTR seemed to be enjoying that time in those oh so creepy empty city streets and I was envious. Being that I live in CO and we have awesome mountains and roads in said mountains I love the empty mountain road.

Now that I ride I see this all the time and have gotten in the habit of looking at faces. I look in their mirror or in the car as I pass to see if they are paying attention or if they might be looking to make a move. I feel a little weird doing it in my car now, but on a bike it’s an invaluable skill. It’s saved me a

What exactly is an off brand car? I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a Costco branded car before.

Agreed, hated that on my 07 MINI and if I had kept it I would have swapped them for painted arches.

I was the same way, great scenery and roads that would be pretty fun. If I was on the right hand side or on my motorcycle. When I landed in Glasgow I immediately got a car and drove 3 hours to the Highlands. Rather stressful 3 hours, it’s similar enough to do without issue but different enough that you aren’t

Yep, I bought my current 2013 WRX STi in 2013 2 months after the original owner. Guy was a doctor that visited a few hospitals in the area and had put about 1500 miles on it. He apparently bought 2-4 Subarus a year for himself and his immediate family. He had a standing order that if they ever got an Audi S6 in he

Make it like a CPAP machine, you have to strap it on and breathe through it the whole time while driving. Granted that’s a stupid idea.

AWD, living in CO it’s hard to have a RWD car as your daily driver. My wife’s car has a good bit of power and is RWD with giant tires. At the first wiff of snow in the air it starts fish tailing all over the place. I would like to scale back from 3 cars because one has the sole purpose of compensating for her cars

Briefly saw one being off loaded from a carrier in Southern CA a few weeks ago. What I saw of it was very nice and my wife liked it. I know she will be going to look at them at some point. For reference of her design tastes, her current car is a supercharged 2010 Jaguar XF. The dealer experience is a big one for her

I grew up in Orlando going to Fun Spot, it was amazing.

Agreed, I got to drive a V8 F-Type 3 or 4 years ago at a dealer event. It was lovely, but then my wallet cried when I saw the price and I went home.

I think the Keurig did it right with the office model that extracted the pod and disposed of it internally instead of having to remove it yourself. That certainly removes a good bit of the perceived waste out of the perspective of the users.

We use a Technivorm Moccamaster that we got on clearance 6 or 7 years ago. It does a fantastic job of brewing with water at the right temp and not letting the pot get too hot and burning the coffee. My wife accidentally left the hot plate on all day and the coffee was still not burned when I got home. Little pricier

Imagine how bad the lady in the car would feel regardless of fault. Better the kid didn’t die and suffered a good few bruises.

I had a wonderful laugh last summer while heading down the interstate. Group of 4 or 5 guys on hyabusas and the like were tearing it up. Wheelies, excessive speeding cutting people off and just generally being terrible. They passed me screaming and being stupid, when in the distance I see a plume of smoke. Thought
