Just another reason to ride a motorcycle. I get 180-200 miles on 3.5 gallons in my Triumph Street Triple and I have more fun riding that than I ever did in any of the fun cars I’ve owned. So I can ride all week to work plus a nice ride on Saturday for like $8.

I usually go to Costco near Park Meadows or King Soopers out west by Sante Fe in Highlands Ranch and it seems to be some of the better priced gas south of town. I’ll keep my STi for superior snow traction. I ski 20+ days a year and never have I felt unsafe in the Subaru, on snow tires of course.

That and the cocking of the hammer sound effects on handguns that clearly have no external hammers like glocks. Or not having a round in the chamber when carrying your gun on duty and having to rack the slide.

My wife is a pharmacist and their surveys are the same way, 10 or nothing. My 2012 LR4 has a low range and locking center diff. It’s been great driving rocky forest service roads and alpine passes in CO. While it’s not the off-roading beast my Wrangler was I like it better all around and it gets my wife to work in the snow.

Does that apply to motorcycles too? The Triumph Speed Triple comes to mind and I don’t know the answer.

Indeed, my wife was given a ‘67 Camaro SS as her first car with the 350. Well I come along with a WRX STi with the lowly 4cyl. A few years in to the relationship I take her dad(who built the Camaro) for a ride and scare the bejesus out of him with how fast that car is. Sometimes there is a replacement for displacement.
