100% correct. This line has been running through that intersection for a decade. This is not some "new-fangled thing" to Houstonians as the article suggests. I have lived in Houston since 2006, and am always conscious of the trains in the inner loop.

I love watching people try and dodge the train in Houston. I live downtown right off the rail on main street and pedestrians hardly give a damn about the train, even now.
